Just catch them all to get Arceus but research 10 is needed for the shiny charm IIRC.

Legends Arceus needs DLC badly. Once you complete the postgame quest and meet Arceus, there is almost nothing else to do. At least the other games offered PvP and the ingame Battle facilities, but PLA has neither.

To be fair some pokemon are stupid easy to get to Level 10.

Here's my wishlist for the PLA DLC which I'll call "Distortion Zone"

• New region to explore after the noble Palkia / Dialga fights that is basically a permanent distortion for the whole zone.
• ~70 new Pokemon in that zone
• Instead of usual distortion loot, Mega stones that can be used by the move tutor to unlock mega mastery "Mega Style" moves for mega evolutions. Shards still present but not stars, comets, or nuggets.
• Can get items that trigger distortions in other zones.
• New recipe: turn Apricorns into spoiled Apricorns.
• "friend distortion" which is basically the same as friend safari.

Hell yeah. It's had perfect attendance for regional forms up to this point and they already reached peak pokeyman design with it first try. Why not keep pumping out the cats?

I agree it needs more postgame, but it's all stuff that really should've been in from the start. What rubs me the wrong way is the notion that an announcement so quickly after release heavily implies that this content was deliberately withheld in order to sell it back to us again later.

*Asterisk here by saying I'm talking paid DLC. Free DLC is gravy regardless of circumstances here.

Usually the way things works at Nintendo these days is if you already have the game you get the DLC for free unless it's something major.

There's rumblings of a Pokemon Go premium/subscription coming imminently so could be that.

It's a paid for ticketed event and they're having in-person stuff in 20 or so cities around the world.
