Self conscious paranoia

I just don't talk much in general, sober or high.

I might be quieter than usual when high, but that's not due to paranoia. It's more just enjoying the feeling.

Plus getting too high triggers my motion sickness sometimes, and keeping my mouth shut reduces the chance of barfing, I rhink.

I get introspective when I'm stoned which leads to me being quiet and just sitting there thinking.

Because indicas are supposed to be pacifying. If you want to get hyped, try a sativa.

This. We just want to sit back and enjoy it. I also was a quiet drunk too.

Ubers when you're really fucked up is so awkward unless the person really wants to talk. Just sitting there in silence thinking the ride is never going to stop

I'll be honest the few times I've smoked that's exactly how I've felt. Like I'm afraid of doing or saying something stupid or offensive. Even though it has never happened I can't help feeling that way, it's irrational.

So why does my heart race when I smoke one strain vs another?

I don't smoke large amounts by anyone's standards, so I usually stay talkative. If I smoke too much, I shut down. Smoking is about finding what amount and type works for you the best. Once you find your comfort zone, you operate much better while high. But like others said, sometimes it makes you in your head in an enjoyable way and you just wanna chill. Especially if outside. You find the right mood and high while outside and everything can feel so peaceful.

When I smoke up, I just like to chill and be vibing.

When I partake (usually vape) I feel a very mild high. My tolerance skyrocketed permanently and all of my paranoia went away with it.

Youre mostly wrong because youre talking about a piece of paper and were describing actual reality.

And there is no real research to speak of on the matter so any statistics you cite are going to be highly specious.

Yeah I used to get dangerously in my head. Became quiet as a mouse but had extreme paranoia. Had to quit when the negatives outweighed the positives

why do some people sleep after drinking coffee? why do some people lay down after eating a big meal? because humans.

I know what the strain is of the stuff. Its a sativa and they are very noticeably different than indicas.

This. I get lost in my own head and start pondering things that are just generally more interesting to me at the time than most conversation. Id rather smoke alone than at a party or with friends.
