Doing a quest in RDR2 where you have to bring a cougar pelt into town to sell to a butcher. Accidentally run into a dude, he starts shooting at me which shuts the entire town down. After killing him - which is already a risk because self-defense usually puts a bounty on your head - I have to wait around for five minutes for the butcher to walk back to his stall.

Gun maintenance? The survival mechanic with the various cores? Being forced into a slow walk at camp? Your horse not responding if it's too far away? Fast travel forcing you to watch a traveling cutscene? Animal carcasses rotting? Having a body looting mechanic and then have NPCs constantly tell you to do the next part of the quest when there's a field of corpses to profit from? All of these things add nothing to the game, they're just annoying.
