The first half of this season was meh but once they got to fighting, it's been great. Although they DO seem to push past their limits a little too easily. Some of these people like 4 episodes ago were "out of strength and unable to move" and they just keep going. The manga's fights pissed me off because they're so fucking long. The more I watch leadale, Cayne's kind of a bitch, although it's funny. I feel sorry for her kids. Been getting a lot of dental work setup recently and the timing is all quite annoying. I'm having a root canal the same day elden ring comes out and then getting a wisdom tooth removed on the 8th. My health has been a bit worse the last week or so as well and I just wanna be healthy enough to play elden ring but it could be a while till I can manage it. Hopefully the root canal goes off without a hitch. The dental people are all amazed I'm not in tremendous pain cause like 40% of my canine tooth is gone and the nerve completely exposed but I don't really feel any pain from it, just cold sensitivity and even then not too bad. More evidence my nerves don't work correctly. MechaKirby 02/16/22 9:08:06 PM #59:	Ok, so I got through 3 hours of cutscenes in Arise, and I feel like I'm in the final 15% of the game. I know Tales games are kinda notorious for back-loading plot in the last 1/4 of the game, but this definitely coulda been better paced. Also the game keeps throwing in mini-boss level enemies with no target-weakpoints and its starting to get lame. At least the knights can be comboed/juggled. Im still enjoying it, tho ----- As far as anime. I finished Neon Genesis Evangelion + End of Evangelion. I guess I accidently spoiled myself by watching episode 26 before EoE, but its all good. Ill say I wasnt too fond of the way it ended, but its not really bad or anything. Definitely gets sad and depressing. Misato is absolutely the best character on the show, and I think her voice actor, Alison Keith, did a great job. I tried the Netflix version and its not a energized or interesting. Overall, I'll give it a 9/10 with the ending being the 'ok' part. the first 20 or so episodes were 10/10 tho, and of course the OP is a 11/10 unskippable masterpiece. Been Playing Xenoblade DE. So glad I can have Japanese voices this go around and while the game's graphics aren't amazing, they're not shitty like they were on the Wii. I'm not super far, but I'm definitely enjoying it again. On my way to colony 6 with 3 party members. Really wish more games had something like the affinity chart. Hopefully these games stay consistent. I have the intention of playing the Arland trilogy next (Possibly on Switch, but the proton support for these looks choppy). The fun of this show and genius prince just makes me crave a more serious war anime. There aren't enough of those. It's like, gundam, code geass, LotGH, and kingdom, all of which are amazing. Why isn't there more? Dress up darling continue to be pretty good and pretty horny. I feel like I probably would have liked it even more 10 years ago. All of this is just in an effort to distract me from the unbearable wait for elden ring in a few days. It can't come soon enough. Given my condition, the game's release is probably a solid health risk but I don't care. I haven't seen any real issue with either game's deadlines so far or issues managing resources (I generally don't like to grind anyways). I am under the impression that these are two of the 3 last games to have any kind of deadline system anyways. Since I was abale to watch the orginal it was nice to see all the scene and shots remade and detailed. I dont normally care for post-apocalyptic settings but the way Tokyo-3 is protrayed is fucking badass. The remastered music is (mostly) awesome and epic, and the Ramiel/ Operation Yashima is the coolest part in the whole series. Such a bizarre but cool enemy. Dress up darling is just getting better though IMO. It's gone from good to great for me. The main character is also becoming very likeable when initially he was lame and annoying. Also I think it's kinda funny that Marin's japanese is so basic and dumb that I can understand borderline everything she says. It's like she speaks almost entirely in exclamations. And then nekoyanagi with a massive headstart while he is sprinting somehow gets chased down by mushroom goons that are slowly walking? What? And then all of them could have just shot the bad guy at any time and didn't for no reason and then nekoyanagi's poison was just to numb him instead of kill him and jesus christ every choice the characters made in this episode was the stupid choice. Ugh at the end they have like a 20 second conversation about running just for old guy to oneshot the lot of the goons they ran away from. Oooh I hated this episode. All these badass superhumans would have lost to me with a gun.
