I started 200 a day in October, started with sets of 25 throughout the day, a couple of weeks it was 40 a clip and 300 a day, now I dont even count I just drop and do them until the lactic acid wont let me

I can do some pushups but I'm heavy so they are bad form.

I just don't get the point. It makes you a tiny bit better at doing pushups, but aside from that it's not like it's going to make a major difference in your health or life or anything, right?

You won't do anything by doing nothing, that is not evidence that doing any given thing will result in any given result.

I'm sure push-ups are a tiny bit good for you, but idk, seems like 10 push ups per day don't really move any needle healthwise. Am I wrong about that?

If you're someoine who does nothing all day 10 is going to be huge effort, when I started I could barely do two.

So yes, it can be, it depends, and for most people it will be a hard task.
I'm at a point in my life where the 80 I do a day is nothing to fit peole, but I'm fit myself and it gets me going.
There is not even a debate to be had here.

I'll do 15 inclines tomorrow. I have a bad left shoulder and am already in good shape. I'll participate but keep it low to not hurt myself to where I make it more difficult to work.

Do 3 second push ups.. 3 seconds down.. Hold at the bottom for 3 seconds. 3 seconds up.

Move to 5 seconds eventually. And then 10.

I usually just do some pushups when I'm about to shower and waiting for the water to warm up. Gets me in a pattern of doing them and usually doesn't take too much time.

Unless youre totally new to fitness, push-ups everyday wont do much to improve your ability to doanything. Thats because your body adapts to whatever weight youre using. The only way to truly get stronger is through progression, increasing resistance as you get stronger. Basically youll hit a peak within a couple weeks and you wont get much better beyond that.

I'd concentrate less on the number and more on just doing sets to exhaustion. Feel free to count like once a week or so if the numerical progression will motivate you.

There's plenty of YouTube videos of people doing this type of thing for a year. You'd probably do better lifting in some capacity, but it'll do something.
