• Normal Sudoku rules apply.
• Standard killer cages: Digits cannot repeat within a cage.
• Inequalities: Inequality signs point to the smaller digit.
• Anti-knight: Cells a knight's move apart cannot contain the same digit.
• Anti-bishop: Cells a bishop's move from a box's center cell cannot contain that center cell's digit.
• Toroidal Grid: For these rules rows 1&9 are considered adjacent, and columns 1&9 are considered adjacent.

The inequalities are vertical inequalty signs (such as the '<' in "3 < 7")

The dashed boxes are killer cages, and digits cannot repeat in those.

Keep in mind the grid is toroidal so it loops.

While I won't confirm those are or are not the correct digits in the correct spots, I don't see any violation of the cages, knights, or bishop's rules, however the 1 in the r4c2 seems to be problematic as 1 isn't greater than any other digit and thus it being on the greater side of an inequality wouldn't work.

Yeah that's tricky. If there were some set numbers on there to start out with then it'd seem more doable. Still probably mess around with it tomorrow, but don't think I'm gonna crack this nut at 4am.

So if I had a question if something was right, would you prefer me to put a spoiler tag on it, or DM you? I'm very new to this, but looking and the rules and being decent at numbers, I think I have a starting point.

I want to be fair to everybody. So I won't answer things that are arbitrary guesses. But general rule questions I can answer publicly, but if you have specific questions that are based on some progress you have already made you can DM them, if they seem like they are general questions I might post the answer in this topic, if they are too "guessy" I might not answer them.

With the rules/link posted you do have everything you need to solve the puzzle. I want to be fair to everybody, so if some terms/jargon is unclear I'm happy to clear that up, beyond that everybody should have an even shot.

Also, upon further inspection, there seems to be a knight conflict of 7's in r7c6 and r9c7, those 2 7's can see each other via the knights move.

I haven't made any progress since the initial night, but still have it opened in a tab to give it a go when I get some down time.

I sat and stared at it for 45 minutes and put colors in a few places and made a vague observation on what goes in the cages.

I usually play along with Bremstar or Cracking the Cryptic, but at most I can solve 3/5s right now. I put a couple of my own on their discord, only to receive a 1/5, so I have a long way to go lol

oh nothing actually published. Just sent to the testers who came back and gave it a 1/5. I'll probably attempt another one once I get more time but I'm in college now so that might now be for a few months.

I did manage to make a couple small discoveries, not enough to break in the puzzle though, and its just because of what I know of doing Sudoku puzzles. I'll spoiler warning it. The center digit has to be odd and phistomefel shows where it can't be in the corner boxes but not enough to tell me exactly where its placed.

I will highlight this because it is part of the puzzle/ruleset
The Name of the puzzle is "Multi-color Madness!"

And with the link to the solver page I include the statement:
(Recommended: Click the gear icon and enable "Multi-color Mode")

Unless it really stumps people I don't plan on giving hints, but being aware of the title and that suggestion are part of the puzzle/rules so I thought I'd explicitly highlight them here just in case anybody glossed over them.

I actually accidentally stumbled across a video that might show me how to go about breaking into this one. I'm at the point where I think I know how I'm supposed to be looking at it but don't understand what to do with the information.

You can undo with the undo button or with control z. If you still have the tab open you should be able to do that.
