I'm not even going to watch SNF for the 5th time in 6 weeks. I don't have any interest in watching a game that might end by more points than this one did.

My 16 is unhesitatingly on KC -12.5 because that spread is so low it's laughable~

Yeah, the only game I intend to watch tomorrow is 49ers/Cowboys. Zero interest in Eagles/Bradys and Steelers/Chiefs. Both of those feel like they'll be lopsided. Raiders/Bengals was fun, but I didn't care to watch Bills/Cheatriots today - I got plenty of satisfaction just looking at the result. Definitely watching Cards/Rams.

I think one game a day is good enough tbh.

I may work through the entire Eagles/Bucs game if my body behaves and I don't feel like I'd be missing anything.

The game I feel worst about picking is SF/Dallas because we have no clue which Cowboys team is actually going to show up. It wouldn't surprise me if they won by 20 or lost by 20.

Seems like the Raiders fans are acting really salty and are acting like it's "rigged" because the refs didn't strip the Bengals of a legitimate touchdown because of a bogus whistle.

This is why I have a lot of respect for NFL referees. They put up with the blame being wholly shifted onto them even when it's not their fault. From what I saw via my neutral perspective, the refs did things that hurt both sides throughout the game.

The second game's result is still beautiful, and I hope it's a sign of things to come for Belicheat and Co.

The touchdown absolutely should not have counted. You can see Raiders players clearly stop because they heard the whistle. I don't care if you think it would've been a touchdown anyway. An inadvertent whistle always blows the play dead and results in replaying the down.

Bengals might win the game anyway because they were the better team, but letting the touchdown stand is not defensible.

if you mean the Raider closest to the receiver, it looks more like he slowed down because he didn't have a play on the ball

letting the TD stand may not be defensible by the wording of the rules, but getting upset that the result of the play after two mistakes was the same as it would have been after zero mistakes is just silly

A lot of discourse i'm seeing is also because the NFL doubled down on saying the whistle happened after the catch when it clearly happened when the ball was still in the air. That said yea it should have still been a good TD, just they should have acknowledged the mistake and just say it had no impact on the play so that's why it stood.

I kinda have no issue with it standing even if it is bizarre. If it in any way affected the play slightly that would be an issue. There was zero chance any Raider was defending that play.

Like I said, I don't think it necessarily affects the outcome of the game. Bengals could've just as easily scored a TD on the replayed down, but I get Raiders fans being upset about it.

I mean could you imagine if the whistle situation went the other way? Ref blew a play dead that wasn't dead yet and cost a team a touchdown? Pretend that the Raider player did make an attempt on the ball and it was still caught but the play was dead.

Bucs RBs and Receivers dropping everything in the regular season is paying off now because they have learned not to drop things if they don't want the GOAT to be angry.

I just think the Eagles pull an Eagles and put up 14 trash time points like always, but this isn't a game.

The Eagles finally had something a little good to feel about and that drop killed it completely. I had them on 3 points at halftime.

They're not making it.
