I got my cats a tiny little drone thing for like $10 thinkin they would think it was a bird and i'd fly it around inside and they'd go ape shit trying to take it down. They got scared as fuck of the little buzzing noise and wouldn't go anywhere near it.

It's a totally asynchronous online class which means no video lectures, just read weekly material. The prof's "icebreaker" is to make a shared google doc where everyone uploads a photo and a few facts about themselves. This is a 1st year general education course (I'm 4th year finance so pretty much just deal with numbers at this point), it's wild.

They make timed laser pointers that stick to the ceiling that will whip around a dot for a few minutes every hour to entertain your cat while you aren't home. I'd have to look into if you can program or set where it shines, or you might come home to a lot of broken shit.

Damn I just went and drank with my neighbor and one of our friends was there. I can't recall seeing someone so wasted we couldn't even catch on to what they we're going on about. This guy is the biggest alcoholic i've ever seen in my life and he hugged me like 37 times tonight because his dad died from cancer just a few months ago and knows about my dad.

I dunno I just went along with it but he is so fucked. He is not handling it in any way shape or form ok.

Drank some schnapps and felt awful, took a massive dump and felt great. I also had a 4 hour nap in the middle there because I woke up at 2 this morning and work was fucking hard.

Next on the menu is a ginarita, I impulse-bought some margarita mix and some gin last night because they were on sale.

The fuck is even going on right now, Sunday 100% chance of snow, 5 to 8 inches expected. I've never seen that kind of accumulation in the 10 or so years i've lived here. I've seen 5 inches twice, it's usually just a dusting or an inch. Wild shit man.

I think it's safe, met them at a Tool concert so I at least trust their taste in music, been hanging out with them for a day and a half while the friend I rode down here with visits some family.

That is a real pickle. You might have to send out a few texts for a wake-up call, like a good friend or a parent or someone reliable you know will be up at 10am and be able to give you a wake-up call. Put your phone on max volume, put it on charge, put on some music or whatever will help you sleep and go to bed now.

Before you go though, drink as much water as possible. Turn yourself into a water balloon, four glasses of water or so. Take a leak, take a dump if you have to, but get a lot of water in you. Then line up your wake up call, set your alarms and hope for the best.

You can detox in class. It'll suck, but you can do it.

Okay, couldn't sleep because I had a nap this afternoon. Time to try a ginarita.
