I always thought that late season with the apocalypse killers was better than it's given credit for. Besides that, it definitely peaked about seasons 2-3.

I didn't hate the ending of this reboot, but there were a lot of "come on, really?" moments in the finale.

My thoughts

1: Best season no question. I had the big stuff spoiled for me so I didn't get to appreciate it for what it was, but after watching the next few seasons, I knew the original was going to be tough to beat

2: First season I watched (and I did so live). I don't remember a lot from it behind Lila herself and the struggles between Dexter and Rita/family. I recall it being predictable but good.

3: About the same as season 2. Miguel > Lila in early story, but switch it near the end. Lots of side plots and stuff that while interesting independently, seemed distracting when all put together... and that's when you know a show is going all in on the idea of filler to take up time...

4: 2nd best villain or best villain? Again, I had shit spoiled, but not all of it. a few minor twists got past me. Again, I feel like it would have kicked my brain's ass if I had watched it live and spoiler free

5: I did not care for Lumen as a character. Julia Stiles played her well but she as a character fell flat for me. Dexter dealing with Rita's death good character development but at the same time not ideal I don't think. Motivation group was easily the weakest yet in terms of villains/villain plots. I really did not care for this season. I remember it though, so it's not at the bottom

6: I agree with Mabus. Doomsday was a meme villain but deserves more credit. The twist was not bad or stupid. It was easy as fuck to figure out 5 hours ahead of time, but it worked, and figuring it out was satisfying even if easy. And say what want about Colin Hanks' character but Colin Hanks played the roll well.

7: I barely remember this season. Hannah was introduced in it and she was memorable as a character. I remember one scene with her shitty ex husband too. And apparently there was a minotaur which I learned through youtube videos but I don't remember that plot at all while I was watching the season.

8: Brain Surgeon? meh. Therapist character? I liked that. Potential protege character? Potential there, I said. How it all played out? Weak. The very end? Kill me.

I just buy an unlocked used phone for 200 to 250.

I had some budget phone for a while and it was so slow and the camera was shit. But 90% of my posting on gfaqs is on my phone and i take a lot of pics... otherwise I wouldn't care as much.

the bullshit with most modern phones is they are manufactured in such a way that it is easy to manufacture, but not easy to repair. i've repaired my phone twice (replaced the charging port, due to a manufacturer software defect)

-most motherboards are attached to the screen. it's not just a screen anymore, the screen IS the phone. So you used to be able to replace a screen for like 80 bucks. Not anymore.

-Most phones are sealed under the guise of "Water resistance". Not only is that a load of shit, but it also makes it such that you need a new piece of glue-tape every time you disassemble the phone! You COULD use the old one, if you are careful, but it's not the best.

-parts are oem, and especially for iphone or high end samsung, the aftermarket usually lags. phones are one of the FEW devices i encourage purchasing an extended warranty on -- at least to last the duration of your phone plan.

my phone is nearly 5 years old and, other than the shitty battery, still works fairly well

Yeah I found this put when Walter broke my s9. It was way cheaper to get another s9 than replace the screen.

Incidentally, a Raspberry Pi I had laying around just got connected to my TV for some reason.

I've always meant to get one of those but never have.

Rasberian, plus a wireless keyboard/mouse, makes it neat little "TV desktop", if a bit underpowered.
It's decent enough for shitposting, porn, and *gfaqs edit*.

Yeah I got a cheap wireless keyboard with a track pad back when I started physically hooking my laptop up to my TV... I gotta say my laptop is annoying but its a solid enough setup.

Oh that's what they run on now. I see. Between games and the fact it would he an upgrade on my laptop that takes 5 plus minutes to go from startup to do anything itd be worthwhile probly.

Fun day back at work. Almost an empty building because other people tested positive.

There's also a Windows security update that is fucking up VPN access that Microsoft needs to fix fast. Spent most of the day remoting into computers and uninstalling the update that's breaking the vpn. Even had to remote into the new chicks computer because she starts working before I even get up so I wanted to fix hers before it became a problem.
