Kinda crazy this game is almost 3 years old now still feels like a relatively new release to me. I played it a ton when it first came out, but then shelved it when I had my fill and only just recently came back to finish it off. Sega keeps putting out these pretty good kart racers although I'm still kinda disappointed they dropped it being all of Sega for being Sonic characters only. The team aspect was very novel though and added a new layer to these type of games that I don't think I've seen before. I hope if they ever do a 4th game they keep the Team gimmick, but return to it being Sega All-Stars.

The platinum here is 100%ing the story mode including getting all stars, keys, platinum medals and beating all races on both Hard and Expert. Then spending 5000 coins on mod pods to unlock all the customization options for all the karts and then a bunch of power up and racer specific trophies and some quick and easy online trophies Overall not too challenging once you figure out how to do well on Hard and Expert, but your AI team mates can sometimes screw you over

Don't need to win on hard or expert right? Knuckles constantly fucks me over for this

You do need to because you need all the car customization options and that means winning all races in story mode on expert

playing a power racer on expert is the way to go so you'd have to be Knuckles
