So probably serving the sentences currently rather than consecutively.

That actually was by the book, which was the problem. Even the judge at the time said the sentence wasn't commensurate with the crime, but he was bound by sentencing guidelines that mandated some sentences had to be served consecutively.

I would've gone w/ 20-30, but 10 is definitely a lot closer to a fair sentence than 110
he definitely had some culpability, between lying about his driving certifications and not taking the available side ramp, and possibly not checking his brakes before the trip.
