As in, you can restart the game at any time, going back to the start of the story but keeping your character's level/upgrades/etc. The idea being that the game is deliberately very difficult to finish first time round, but subsequent 'loops' let you breeze through the early stuff, conserving resources/time that you were previously short of. The ones that I'm thinking of are Dead Rising and Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter, but I'm wondering if there are many (any?) others. --- The shattered stage is set and there's a role you must fulfil ...
