With it, Kirby can exhale fire breath like hes a dragon! It can also light up and burn various things throughout different games, most notably the cannon fuses. Its remained relatively the same ever since, aside from getting a full moveset in Super Star and from Return to Dream Land onwards. With this extended move set, Burning was made the dash attack of Fire. Same goes for Ice but with Freeze. Although Fire is not in the Dark Matter Trilogy despite Ice being present, Burning + Rick provides an identical result in Dream Land 2 and 3. This is one of five abilities confirmed to appear in Kirbys new game, Kirby and The Forgotten Land, alongside Sword, Cutter, Ice, and Needle. Ice is Fires direct counterpart.
