I'm afraid I'm going to have to count that save. Really sucks cause I think Vis was holding for Zelda and saved Snake last second.

Oh I wasn't asking you not to count it. It was a total mistake on my part!

Also I'm just realizing that I then forgot to save Zelda in the other topic because I was annoyed with myself here and she almost went out too. That would've been an A++ level mistake to accidentally kill characters I like in both topics.

Yikes, the only two left that I really liked went out in consecutive days. Now I need to find a new main!

This has definitely been the oddest round yet. Zelda saved by pure accident? She really is the new Ryu.

I doubt my save would've come in time but I would've once again saved Zelda over Snake if Suprak didn't make his mistake.

The thing with Snake is he has LOTS of fans but they tend to be no-shows.

On a day that all of Snake's fans are here, he's one of the first saves.

Also my prediction about Richter was spot on even if there was a mistake lol.

I predicted he would fall in 11th place because of his terrible round 1.

Richter had the worst performance of ALL characters that made it past the one save portion, but nearly got his ASP to under 50% with his crazy impressive comeback. He finishes the competition in 11th place, just shy of the top 10 and he was the last newcomer from the base game in Ultimate. Also, he was the last Echo Fighter. Pichu is the only clone left from Melee.

Tomorrow will be bumped to nine saves and each day moving forward you can probably expect the number of saves to increase.

To all the people that saved Richter, I'm genuinely curious

Where were you guys when he was barely able to get one save?

I am even more baffled where the hype for this guy came from than I was for Ryu.

I was trying to save all 3 Samus, and Richter was my 4th priority.

I was one of the people saving him near the end of the round! I was intentionally saving him late just to see how bad I could get his stats. He picked up steam near the two save portion and I actually didn't have to save him again until recently.

I have no clue why he went from needing me to save him at the last moment to getting carried this far though.

I've had an idea for the final banner since the very beginning of this competition but thanks again Kamekguy for this awesome Melee banner!

Congrats to Chrom for sneaking into the Top 10 with the new banner.

As Richter, who had an incredible performance falls to his death, the final 10 all collaborate among each other to decide how they will seize victory.

Bowser: Bwahahahha. (We've made it this far Piranha Plant. Everything is going to plan. We will be the last two standing with ease.)

Piranha Plant: Geeeeughhh (Yeah, we've done pretty good so far)

Bowser: Bwahahahaha (We played Sephiroth and Wolf like fiddles. They trusted us so much and we turned our back on them just like that!)
