Judgmenl 12/27/21 8:28:08 PM #7:	I can once again explain how the first half of the film is a good analysis of the original, but the second half is also a good analysis of the second two films, however to understand the first part of my post you'd need to understand that the second two Matrix films are garbage, making anything they touch also garbage. I am also annoyed that Hugo Weaving did not reprise his role as Smith, although the film does provide an in universe explanation for this. --- You're a regular Jack Kerouac Not removing this until I've left March 2020. <cite>Judgmenl posted [p:961262950] in Why was th... wolfy42 12/27/21 8:36:04 PM #8:	The movie had about an hour of "decent" and then 1 1/2 hours of suck. There have been worse movies, it wasn't totally crap, but yeah I wish I hadn't paid for it. At least i paid for HBO MAX so I get other things (I saw suicide squad which I really liked and i'm watching everwood). They even talk about the theories about what the meaning behind the original trilogy. Both Wachowskis have basically admitted that WB has been pushing for another Matrix sequel for about 20 straight years, in spite of the fact that they feel like the story had been told and there was nothing left to do with it. But WB still kept pushing, including threatening to make one without them if they didn't do it. Lana only caved because it gave the opportunity to work through the emotional trauma of their parents dying.
