Xtlm got me Disgaea 2, The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, Stardew Valley, Rosenkreuzstilette, and Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel.

Never heard of the last two but look forward to trying them out.

Disgaea 2 was my favorite in the series and the only one I progressed heavily into on the PSP, but unfortunately I have no idea where that system is anymore.

I can't believe it's taken me this long to finally get Stardew Valley. I was big into Harvest Moon as a kid.

Finally dipping my toes into the Trails series. Heard nothing but good stuff about it.

HBJ hit me up with Happy Room, which is similar to the old Ragdoll Experiment games. Spiritfarer, Which is just an astoundingly beautiful game. I have seen little snippets of play and i can't wait to lose days to this game. Superlimnal, which should satisfy my need to play puzzle games for quite some time. and Code Vein. Which is also going to just slot in to my play list when i have time away from Spiritfarer.

Yeah, I wouldn't feel bad about "only" giving away Horizon Zero Dawn. I'm sure many people would claim it was the best game among the dozens gifted

are the earlier games required reading or can I skip to this one

I played Half-Genie Hero first, so...

It's not like there's some sort of epic story or anything. Like at best you might miss out on some running gags or something.

besides the first Shantae game is actively bad and mostly got attention due to the character designs/rarity of the game itself due to being released towards the end of the GBC lifecycle, and the second game is fairly short since it was originally dsiware.

Update on games from Santa:

Bloodstained - 7.7 hrs played, going strong
Shantae PC - 6.4 hrs played, getting toward the end
Yoku's - 4.1 hrs played, close to the end?
Griftlands - 80 min played, either gonna settle into playing this one a lot eventually or sitting it to the side...which I basically knew beforehand

Played a bunch of UNICLR last night, just mashing around. This game feels so good. It's like SF4 if it was an anime fighter.

God it needs a rollback update. I'd totally make it my main game.
