E.M.M.I. #6 beated and Wave Beam get! It's a lot easier to escape them with all of my upgrades, but it took me a while to figure out the right approach to taking it out when the time came.

Oh hey, last E.M.M.I. beated via cutscene due to Samus's weird glowing arm thing out of nowhere and now Power Bomb get!

I feel like this is everything now, so I'm wondering if I should go back and try to get upgrades before taking on Raven Beak.

Backtracking through areas and collecting upgrades is my favorite part of any Metroid game

Yeah, I assume you were meant to find this sooner than I did! I've just been Power Bombing every flashing area on the map and it usually reveals hidden stuff!

Mai-HiME Episode 7 complete!

So HiME can use their powers however they choose, except they aren't allowed to fight each other. I imagine that will change as the show goes along!

Music is still the highlight of this show so far, I think.

Natsume is getting pretty annoying! Hes okay in small doses, but Im tired of him now. It looks like all but one of the jurors are ones weve seen before (or will see in the future chronologically? I cant remember which cases all of them were in since most of them are like half-characters); youd think the court wouldnt let someone who was on Natsumes last jury be on the current one!

G2-2's jury is exactly the same as G1-4's, except Joan Garrideb gets replaced by the lady in the fancy hat

So I decided to proceed to the last area in Metroid Dread and whoa plot bombs, they actually surprised me with the Adam fakeout, although how many different types of DNA does Samus have inside of her

Metroid Dread beated! Last boss was tough, but once you figured out his easily telegraphed attacks, it wasn't too bad. I've only played Super and Prime 1 before, but I'd say Dread was probably my favorite of the three. Fun game.

The Expanse Season 6 Episode 4 complete!

They've done a good job making Filip more likable here than he was in the books, where he was just angry teenager 99% of the time. Clarissa has been good this season, too.

Also, I was surprised that they showed Duarte in the opening.

So Trunks is like Kurisu in that he knows he's surpassed his father but he can't show it because his dad will hate him for it.

Dread's very good yeah, and the last boss is fun. I was surprised by how entertaining the story was in the end.

Mai-HiME Episode 8 complete!

Well, that was quite a twist, revealing that the death of someone's HiME means that the person they care about most will also die. I guess the big thing going forward will be who dies if Mai's HiME dies.

Poor Akane. She didn't get that much screentime but I did like her.

Now that I've finished Metroid Dread, I've decided to go back to Famicom Detective Club: The Girl Who Stands Behind. I didn't get too far into it, so there isn't much I need to remember to get caught up. Just finished Chapter 1.

I'll be interested to see how many episodes Trunks hangs on before he has to tap out to let Gohan and Goku tag in.

The Expanse Season 6 Episodes 4 and 5 watched (oh no i was behind silly holidays):

Also there is absolutely no chance in hell this series can be even remotely finished in a satisfactory manner with literally one episode to go. There are like 5+ plot threads in the air and it's just not possible lol. I'm honestly curious how they even attempt it because I don't even know man.

Haha, my wife doesn't like Drummer at all. It's our biggest disagreement about the show.

I just finished Chapter 6 of The Girl Who Stands Behind. There feels like there's one super obvious suspect at this point unless someone new shows up, which I don't expect to happen.

Really good episode. It felt like every character had a cool moment.

Also I've been waiting to see what "repaired" Xan would look like since they've started teasing this storyline. They kept the lighting really low so you couldn't get a clear look this time, but I imagine we will in the finale.

I'm pretty sure there's a special episode that expands this that's not part of the normal episode count like Bardock, but it looks like it's actually on Funimation.

I think you're supposed to wait until like episode 175 for it though.

that's the history of trunks, yeah. it's the second of two DBZ tv specials.

History of Trunks came out after episode 175 in Japan, yeah. But honestly thats a weird spot for it. If youre interested Id wait and watch it after the Cell arc is done. Or dont watch it because its not really that good!

Well I don't really remember it's quality. DBZ fans seemed to hold it in some esteem, and it's based off a side manga chapter, so...canon!

now is as good of a time as any to watch it. it's not incredible but it's at least as good as some of the garbage that made it into the main anime

I was a bit worried for Levi there but it looks like he is still alive. Zeke is alive, natually. I wonder if the mysterious woman is Ymir. Eren tries to effectively solo the Marley army but even Reiner is struggling to job here with so much support. Armin says Eren is faking it in regards to cooperating with Yelena. If Armin says that, it must be true. But, what is Eren trying to do then? Is he expecting Mikasa to bail him out of the current fight again?
