prime for instance has cold levels she has no issue with.

Yeah, I remember this not being an issue in Prime, but they do explain why she's vulnerable to the cold in the opening sequence here.

I did finish the DLC case of AA6 though. It was not as strong as 5-6 I can tell you that.

Yeah, 6-6 was a bit of a letdown after how great 5-6. It's nice getting to have a Phoenix/Maya vs. Edgeworth case again, but it doesn't have much else going for it.

They should have went all the way to make it a nostalgia case and brought back Gumshoe and maybe even a recurring annoying witness like oldbag.

Well, that's why Larry was there, too!

I imagine they're saving Gumshoe for AA7 should it ever exist.

All right, second E.M.M.I. beated and Spider Magnet get!

The first boss was pretty easy since it didn't really do anything, but I guess they're just easing me into it!

Oh yeah Larry was great, not sure why I forgot that.

Second boss beated and Phantom Cloak get! That one was a bit tougher. It took me a couple of tries to figure out what I needed to do.

Metroid Dread is pretty great. I need to get back to it and beat the final boss before I lose all of my muscle memory...

I got Shining Pearl and SMT V for Christmas myself!

I have moved on to the second major area. Was Samus always like Mega Man with the ability to steal powers from defeated bosses?

Christmas has typically been a small family gathering here (smaller as some family moves further away) to the point where now it's basically just my immediate family and then my aunt's family but unfortunately they think they were exposed to COVID so that got scrapped yesterday for safety unfortunately (my uncle's side of the family apparently had a mini-outbreak). Hope everything went better for everyone else!

Wave Beam get! I was wondering what the deal was with those big boxes, and now I know!

I've moved on to the third major area. Both times I've reached a new area, I've hit a dead end without realizing where I was supposed to go and tried to go back to the previous area, only to discover that I've been blocked from advancing more than a few screens from the exit. I'm assuming I'll be able to go back eventually.

yeah I'm pretty sure I'm doomed already in my fantasy matchup today, but oh well, I had a better season than I expected after Henry went down

E.M.M.I. #3 beated and Morph Ball get! The Morph Ball always opens up a lot of routes to explore, so that should make things easier.

And now Varia Suit get!

Usually the morph ball is really early; getting it so late was kind of interesting

Kraid beated and Diffusion Beam get!

That was a fun boss fight, although it took me a few tries to beat because I kept forgetting about using the Morph Ball to dodge the spikes, so that part kept killing me.

Morph Bombs get, and now I'm headed to the fourth major area. Lots of rain, which is good, because rain makes everything better.

Flash Shift get! This feels like it's way too easy to accidentally use if I'm not careful, but it's pretty fun.

I've got Lamb and Waddle left, and he's got Dak and Cowboys D/ST, so it's anybody's guess now

Im having a pretty strong week, too bad I couldnt pull out the win last week.

Though I suppose the opponent I would have played this week had I won would still be beating me, so I guess in the long run it doesnt matter.

The Expanse book 9 beated! That was a crazy finale. Not totally sure how I feel about the ending, but it still managed to be an emotional farewell for the Rocinante crew.

5 > 8 > 1 > 9 > 3 > 7 > 6 > 2 >4

E.M.M.I. #4 beated and Speed Booster (with Shinespark) get! That was a tough one because of how the area was structured and how fast it could move, but we're officially past the halfway point with these things, which is nice.

And now Grapple Beam get! I'm guessing this is the last beam thing since the box is filled on the menu now.

And the Grapple Beam quickly lets me access the next major area.

Shinespark puzzles are good times.

Man, who would've guessed the most interesting thing here was the Saiyan lore that a pure Saiyan's hair doesn't change from the day they're born!

Well, we're starting to get a few answers about what's going on now. Music is pretty good so far, too.

Kagutsuchi is pretty strong.

Oh hey, we finally got a big cutscene with a lot of dialogue (including some from Samus at last!) explaining what's going on. The boss fight was tougher than it needed to be because I kept unsuccessfully trying to counter his melee attacks when all I should've been doing was Flash Shifting over them and shooting him while he recovered!

Yeah, there are definitely times when countering is more trouble than it's worth.

Drogyga beated! That one took me a while to figure out what exactly I was supposed to even do to damage the boss, but once I did, it wasn't too difficult.

And now we're headed to the next major area. That one dude said he shut down the rest of the E.M.M.I. things, but I don't imagine that'll last for the rest of the game! That Raven Beak guy will probably reactivate them at some point.

Also I looked it up and the second part of Attack on Titan Season 4 starts January 9!

(Which means for us dub people it "starts" at the beginning of February but hype all the same!)

Oh cool. And then Kaguya after that aww yeah

Holden really just wasting Bobbie's pro eSports skills smh. Also I swear that dinosaur thing on Laconia is the real villain. Been sus at hell from the start and now it can apparently revive things this is a horror movie prompt. Get out. Also I was successfully tricked on Ceres. When they first arrived I was expecting it to be rigged with explosives with the intent to detonate and take as much of the Inner fleet as possible but I was sold on it being a costly project for them instead after it didn't only to get the explosion swerve at the end there anyway.

They've done a really good job with Joshua so far. Probably the one they've handled the best along with Minamimoto.

also I think all this X Parasite stuff would be cooler for me if I had played Fusion, but the X Parasite reviving (or undeading?) the dead guy and reactivating the remaining E.M.M.I. units was a cool scene

The "item you can't use yet" stuff is lame. Wish they hadn't done it. The reasoning is that you could get stuck somewhere using it in a place they expect you to have another power-up, which is fair, but still.

Spin Boost get!

And I'm glad I wasn't the only one who got stuck and wondered how I was supposed to get back to where I came from considering they said the Spin Boost wasn't supposed to work underwater without the Gravity Suit!

Whew, E.M.M.I. #5 beated and Ice Missile get! That one was particularly tough because its radar thing could freeze you on contact if you didn't have the Phantom Cloak on.

Escue beated and Storm Missile get! This one seems cool but really situational. I doubt I'm using it on a boss, for instance.

Well, I stand corrected! It came in handy in that fight against two Chozos at once!

And now Space Jump get!

Storm Missile is incredibly useful in some boss fights. There are times the enemy fires and attack and you can kill it with one Storm Missile volley.
