Arcanine2009 11/04/21 1:45:32 AM #1:	I'm making this thread with the purpose of finding interesting anime and recommending others as well. Last Anime watched: Magi: The Labryinth of Magic on Netflix. 2 seasons and finished yesterday. it was good. Ending left at an annoying cliff hanger of 7 years. 8/10 Currently Watching: Children of the Whales on Netflix (1 season?). It's about a group of people living in an apocalyptic world where there is nothing but sand and floating islands. They live on a floating island called a mud whale. There's two types of people on the mudwhale. Those that have magical powers, but live short lives, and those that are normal but have long/normal lives. They find that they aren't alone.. Interesting premise. I like mature anime (tv-14 and MA), preferably with an older cast, although 90% of anime seem to be high schooler age cast. --- Less is more. Homeless_Waifu 11/04/21 2:24:57 AM #5:	That spin off of inuyasha Yashahime or whatever it was called. It's an okay continuation of inuyasha, definitely less gore/nudity than it's source material... But it's okay for what it is. The vocal soundtrack/opening or credits music isn't as memorable as inuyasha though, IMO Not sure how I feel about it's art style, definitely loved the animation in inuyasha but something about yashahime seems slightly different. It's not bad but it doesn't have that early Rumiko style to it, you know akin to Ramna 1/2 or the original inuyasha --- The switch needs a good demolition derby game that's all I want!!! - started Feb. 2021 Ended Oct.31 2021 :0 <cite>Homeless_Waifu posted [p:959676873] in The "... This I've never really felt any desire to watch the original Saint Seiya series, but Saint Seiya Omega did catch my eye. As far as I know, it's an unconnected spin-off that doesn't require having seen the original Saint Seiya series, plus it has more modern production values and the same character designer as two other series I really like, Casshern Sins and Heartcatch Precure. I dunno. As far as I know, it's an unconnected spin-off that doesn't require having seen the original Saint Seiya series, plus it has more modern production values and the same character designer as two other series I really like, Casshern Sins and Heartcatch Precure. I dunno. Maybe I'll watch the original (it helps that it has a complete dub now), maybe I'll watch Omega, maybe I'll put them on my watch list but never actually get to them. Omega made a lot of significant changes that break the established conventions but if you don't know what those things are then you can probably watch it just fine. I've never watched Naruto either (saw a couple episodes, didn't like it, saw how long it was, never looked back) so I don't really get it, but okay.
