He was in the warm up pen at the Texas Region Junior High Rodeo when the horse "reared up" and fell on top of him as people were initially feared he had disappeared when he wasn't seen at his area Horses generally rear up or stand on their hind legs when they're objecting to being restrained as a vet said the horse, that also died had a heart attack or brain aneurysm and died on top of him Legend already won 2nd place and was preparing for the finals when the tragedy happened His mother, Raegen told KYTX "As i was crying out to God to save my son and i was begging him not to take my son, i knew Legend was going to lead thousands of people ot Christ.
