Isn't it just the negligence of people, like everything else?

God's a scapegoat. Which if he exists, Im sure he appreciates. "I'mma get to heaven, I know I am, because I blame everything on the guy who decides who gets in"

Why does God have to be the arbiter of everything

Why can't some of it just be the result of things he did previously

And people twisted that into "I can do whatever I want and be forgiven in the 4th quarter with seconds on the clock".

Im not saying all religious people, Im talking about a specific type of person. The person using God as an immunity shield from making an effort to be a good person. I believe that's a minority of the community. They're just the loudest

Because he would know what would happen and either let it continue to happen that way or shape it to whatever his desired will?

Jesus did die for the sins of all people, so everyone will be forgiven and go to heaven.

I understand what you mean though.

anyone who reads the Bible knows this is not true. God judges your heart as well as your actions. If you live in a particular sin, it doesnt matter how many times you ask for forgiveness, you still lived a life of sin. You will not enter heavens gates according to the word. Once you acknowledge your sin is wrong, he doesnt expect you to never commit it again, but he certainly wants you to give 100% effort in never committing it again. If you live in a sin, for example having pre marital sex everyday but asking for forgiveness at night, youre not making effort to stop doing it. You just dont want to be judged doing it. If you stop doing it, fast, pray and read the word, you will see serious improvement in regards to your struggle with particular sin.

its not do what you want and say sorry. I dont know why people think that

It's because these people use the bible for convenience and not guidance. Religious people can come off as the most hypocritical because they say they live by a set of rules that they break every day. At least when you live that life and you're not religious, there's no hypocritical aspect to it in that way. I definitely don't understand it.

"Under another interpretation, the first Horseman is called Pestilence, and is associated with infectious disease and plague. It appears at least as early as 1906, when it is mentioned in the Jewish Encyclopedia. This particular interpretation is common in popular culture references to the Four Horsemen.

Vicente Blasco Ibez, in his 1916 novel The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (filmed in 1921 and in 1962), provides an early example of this interpretation, writing "The horseman on the white horse was clad in a showy and barbarous attire. ... While his horse continued galloping, he was bending his bow in order to spread pestilence abroad. At his back swung the brass quiver filled with poisoned arrows, containing the germs of all diseases."

If it is it means he's losing his omnipotence.

Once he completely loses his power that means someone can take over and become the new god.

Then God will be one of us.

No, 9/11 was. According to Jerry Falwell atleast

The Rev Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson set off a minor explosion of their own when they asserted on US television that an angry God had allowed the terrorists to succeed in their deadly mission because the United States had become a nation of abortion, homosexuality, secular schools and courts, and the American civil liberties union.

Religious people are always like "bad things are because God is mad at us for some reason or other"

Also with the AIDS epidemic in the 80s they blamed gay people for pissing him off
