I love how still the primary reason is "me" with zero fucks given to other people. So you are healthy, young, fit, and you get covid, don't realize it for a few days, you get over it quick and are fine. In the meantime, likely gave it to 10 people, who gave it to more people, kind of like rodents reproducing, a chain effect. Even if 3 people die as a result, that idea alone that people can die due to my own stubbornness and stupidity is why I got vaccinated immediately, one reason among many.

Yet many of these people are pro life, with no care given about the people they are potentially killing. As long as you are young and healthy, right?

Does it really still need to explained that people are well aware that it isn't 100% efficient, but it still tremendously reduces the risks of both catching it and fatalities? The fact that I even have to post that speaks volumes about the stupidity of all of this. I guess that's why things are basically unchanged a year and a half later, vaccines are free and people still want to keep this virus alive and prolific for years to come.

yeah for us it's a bit harsher, you can't go anywhere public indoors now without the passport, there aren't even any exemptions for people who CAN'T get the vaccine

Irony is when people say you can still die from it as a reason to not get the vaccine.

You're not afraid of dying from it without the vaccine, so why should lowering the chances by an incredible amount instead of 100% guaranteed safety be the deal breaker?

In school
children are generally allowed to attend school even if they havent received the recommended vaccinations for certain diseases.
But if theres an outbreak of a contagious disease at school and a child hasnt been vaccinated against it, the child might not be allowed at school until the outbreak is over.

Yeah I keep forgetting this place isn't exclusive to America. I remember having to get my shots in order to be able to go to school.
