Kirby 64
Canvas Curse
Return to Dream Land
Planet Robobot

All of those were great, and the other mainline games were pretty good, too.

I loved Superstar as it was my first Kirby game, but Kirby has a few other really legit games that are about as good, if not a bit better. Return to Dreamland, Planet Robobot, even Star Allies in some ways.

and honestly, Superstar is kind of overrated

It's like, half a great game.
Revenge of Meta Knight, The Great Cave Offensive, and Milky Way Wishes are the only real standouts
Spring Breeze and Dyna Blade are pretty "meh", and everything else is just minigames

Not quite. Zelda is mostly greatish, but some of the games weren't great, and I'm not even talking about the Phillips jank either. Zelda 2 Adventure of Link, Phantom Hourglass, Skyward Sword, Triforce Heroes

Triforce Heroes
I still don't understand how this game is canon and a direct sequel to A Link Between Worlds with the same Link, despite TFH clearly using Toon Link.

Zelda 2 is great. But you either like it or you don't.
PH ans ST are pretty "meh", but they're not terrible either
Skyward Sword suffers from having a unique control scheme and LOTS of backtracking
Triforce Heroes is basically Four Swords Lite, but I still enjoyed it. It really isn't meant to be serious.

It's amazing to me that Kirby's Adventure was even possible on NES

I don't think people appreciate just how much late releases for the NES really pushed the hardware to its limits.

This. Kirby games have a near-spotless track record. Every entry is solid, and they tend to alternate between experimental stuff and traditional gameplay, so that people will never complain about them using the same formula every game.

Pretty much every game is at least decent, if not great. I can't think of any I'd call outright bad. At worst, gimmick ones like Mass Attack and the stylus games would be "not my cup of tea."
