This game felt even shorter than Limbo because there was less emphasis on puzzles. At least I bought it for $5. But I still almost feel cheated.

Insides gameplay quips lick the floor with Limbo.

After the spider, or aside from the spider, Limbo tends to go downhill. The machinery is cool in like a finally someone did this! kind of way, and its known to be very influential on minimalism and kicked off a new wave of real retro in gaming. However.... Limbo isnt exactly known for its super-memorable puzzles.

Inside has the mind-control device (which they do wonders with, especially when it comes to controlling multiple zombies, or roaming with the zombies) & the Horde at the end which you play as. Not to mention the extremely intuitive subnautical sections. Either I am failing to see where Limbo takes the cake on Inside (outside of arguably the narrative & aesthetic).... or, you are failing to see how Inside trumps Limbo. Limbo is cleaner. Inside is innovative, and easier to critique. Limbos arthouse streak makes it a punching bag or no-go zone for criticism, and its such a simple game.... youre really just left with the graphics & world & story to experience. Inside has much more in the way of being a complete game, ranging from a variety of Easter Eggs to exploring societal themes where Limbo explored more personal ones.

I have prefer Inside because it was less hard. But Inside is serious intensive hardcore theme.

I didn't think Inside was very good.

Sure both are Artsy but Limbo was a legit good game. Inside just felt like "We're not talented enough to make a popular artsy movie so let's just make a game instead" which is kinda insulting
