would you like the option to be able to?


iirc mods can block regular users. And , why shouldn't the reasons for blocking someone also apply for the same reasons you might block a mod. Do you think this might be good to put this topic on site suggestions?

I can't think of any current mod I'd want to block, although some of the older ones who left the mod team -- rather than get "fired" (as they probably should have been) -- were absolute nutters who went on deranged rants and engaged in conduct that flagrantly violated the TOS.

This, however, would not, unless the moderator in question has something important to tell you. But if this were the case, they'd just moderate you and tell you in the comment box.

If you're that fragile, I'd suggest learning how to do it yourself. This was a feature in xfaqs 8 years ago. Would take you 10 minutes to write a userscript to handle it.

I would say no, but Burgess (was that his name) trolled daily and was a mod for years. So I'd say yes.

They way I see it the block feature is a thing so yeah blocking mods should be a option. The problem with that is it'll make it hard for them to well... mod. Anyone could just block all mods and shitpost. Doesn't seem a good idea.

By definition, no, you should never be able to block them because their entire job requires them to see your posts.

It should be acceptable to ignore a mod if you don't want to see them, though, presuming that doesn't mess with how moderations are handled because we're on a shitty site coded by monkeys.
