Most job listings will have a salary range which you negotiate based on your skills and previous experience. If the salary range isn't listed, then search google or glassdoor for the position to check the average salary.

Why not

The "rules" of what you should and shouldn't say/ask during interviews or put on your resume change so frequently it's hard to keep up
