The Sock 09/19/21 4:56:59 AM #1:	I keep hearing from a bunch of people that they miss how things used to be and that everything sucks now. Me, I love the past but I don't choose to live in it. I love life and every day above ground is a good day! There are so many great things in this world if you're willing to get out there and look for them. Life is beautiful! I've always thought like this even during the lowest moments of my own life. I refuse to be one of those people where, when I get old, I keep complaining about how good things used to be. I will not be one of those people. I don't think getting older sucks. Thing is though it's not the kind of thing that I feel is appropriate to say to others at the risk of sounding prideful or egotistical, considering how much so many people are hurting or suffering. At the church I go to, for example, there is a time where you can share a prayer request or a praise report. 99% of comments are prayers requests for horrible things happening to members. Using the time to talk about something great that happened to me that week just feels out of place or like I'm bragging. --- Congratulations! I have a kid now too and it is way cool. People say kids are no fun at all. That is complete BS. Kids are an excuse to do exactly whatever the heck you want and the best excuse to avoid the things you dont want to do (ex.
