I've just beaten the third realm and I feel like it's been awfully short, and I'm atleast almost halfway done if not more? Can anyone tell me in a spoilers free way how much is left? I know what the other three realms are(names) but don't know how much longer the story will be.

Tales of the Tempest is unironically 12 hours, maybe 15 to fully complete everything.

Arise is supposed to be at least 40 hours which is about standard for a Tales game.

Thank God. I'm tired of committing 60-70 hours to every JRPG that releases lol.

It's actually kinda crazy. I didn't think it was bad until I saw that you can buy like 40+levels added to the whole party, basically infinite money and more. The costumes are actually the more expensive dlc items.

Cleared the main story in 33 hours, postgame in 38. Did every sidequest (70/70).

Same. 40 or so hours is a good enough length and its still gonna take me a while to finish if I grind. Plus theres an endgame after you defeat the last boss so theres tons of content. Honestly Im shocked that theres not as many side quests or how easy the side quests are to complete.

I just got my shit wrecked by mysterious soldier or swordman. All that and I've already grinded up to 28 and fought him on even terms (even though I was at like 3 life bottles) I wonder if he's a legit unwinnable fight.

I wish I saved right before.

The game autosaves on screen transitions. Go back to the title and click continue and it should put you just before you started the fight/cutscene.

basically everyone I know playing it is continuously expressing extreme increduality at how so many reviews were floating around saying 30-35 hours since it seems to be much longer. the only one of them I know who actually finished it is sitting at just under 60 hours total (with 5 of those being the final dungeon lol)

It's a 30-35 hour game, and there's nothing wrong with that. You can try to fluff the length with arguments about difficulty scaling and the grinding required for it, but that's how much content there is. 30-35 hours. If you wanna argue that it's a 50 hour game with 30 hours of story with hour long boss fights, and 20 of grinding, that's cool, you do you, but there's 30 hours of story.
