Board 8 > Is anyone else gonna buy Pokemon Celebrations, and if so, do you have a plan?

I have quite a bit preordered, but didnt get lucky enough to get the Pokmon Center ETB preordered, abs no one has had the Premium Collection or Pikachu VMax collection up yet for MSRB.

Will going to a store 4 hours before they open be enough to get these cards?

No clue, but that's what I'm going to do. We'll find out.

Im probably doing GS just cause I think most the Big Boxes right now are only selling cards at a certain time, not when they open, abs they have a limit of 2 on overall product, not just per item.

though I believe the only items left I need on the 8th are the rest of the tins, and the Dragapult Prime Box, so maybe I try Meijer for that and on the 22nd do GameStop cause I need 3 different products that day, the aforementioned Big 2, and the Collector chest

That sounds like a good approach. I'm fortunate in that there's a GameStop right next door to a Target in my area. I'm going to sleuth them both and I've got a friend willing to stand in line at one while I take up the other.

I really want the special delivery bidoof from pokemoncenter.ca and you need to spend at least $20 + $10 shipping, so I may end up with some celebrations card for the stupid thing (me assuming there will be stock of celebrations lolno)

If I get Special Delivery Charizard, Ill probably end up spending about 450 or so to get Bidoof and Pikachu.

So I kinda hope I dont, cause I wont buy all 3 of them aftermarket, but 2 of them I will.

25th Anniversary TCG Collection for Pokmon.

50 card special set, with absolutely ridiculous remakes and reprints. Base set Starters, Umbreon Star, Shining Magikarp, remakes of Surfing, Flying and Base set Pikachu. List goes on. But its a specialty set, so you cant buy packs individually, only in boxes, crates or tins of other Celebrations collections.

Was able to order the Pokmon Center ETB today!!!!

So that means for exclusive items the only thing Ill have left now is the Amazon box.

This didnt change any of my release day plans however of course because they still no one has up the Pikachu V max figure box or Ultra Premium Collection at price yet.
