May have mentioned this in someone elses topic but first week back and I find 12 home made weapons. All kinda on the large side. Right after they almost had a race war in a dorm too. And other officers have found some too.

On the plus side this has boosted my reputation even further with my supervisors. I just might be one of the only people the become one of the "favorites" on merit alone and no ass kissing here. Usually even the best of the best are treated like shit while do nothing ass kissers are the favorites

Also got accepted for my promotion 2nd day back. I gotta go to classes before I can officially do the job but they had me do it anyways last night lol. Had to train someone elses trainees cause they wasnt there. I just couldn't sign off on anything claiming they had been taught this or that.

Zero on the ledges. None to be thrown over. Slim on the shanking. I do my job but I'm super polite about how I do it so most inmatea think im allright. If im a asshole to a inmate they bought it. When im a asshole to a inmate other inmates are usually laughing cause they know the dude bought it. Ive had them come up to me after being a asshole then writing up another inmate and say shit like "man what a dumbass you asked him politely several times. What did he think was gonna happen?"

Im also slack on several petty rules so that helps too.

Weird time once I had a inmate tell me he wantes to kill a particular officer but never would cause there was always at least one officer in the dorm he liked and didnt wanna cause them to deal with the aftermath of it
