Do you think it was foolish not to get life insurance if you have a big family to care for, especially if the spouse is unemployed?

One of the founders of the "Freedom Defenders" of Texas who fought against COVID restrictions, mask mandates and vaccines had died of the virus on Saturday..and he DIDN'T have LIFE INSURANCE to leave for his unemployed stay at home WIFE and 3 kids who now have to BEG for money on Gofundme!!

30 y/o Caleb Wallace leaves behind his PREGNANT wife and 3 kids where Jessica posted "Caleb has peacefully passed on. he will forever live in our hearts and minds"

For almost a month Caleb was unconscious, ventilated and heavily sedated in the ICU at Shannon Medical Centre in San Anglo but developed symptoms in late July and was very resistant to turn to DOCTORS for help.

But Jessica said he would start to cough and into a hacking attack and would leave him completely out of breath

She said "He was hard-headed. He didn't want to see a doctor because he didn't want to be part of the statistics with COVID tests and prove the media right about the virus"

He opted to treat himself with a cocktail of Vitamin C, zinc, aspirin and invermectin, the anti-parasitic drug that was falsely touted by some as effective covid treatment.

The FDA issued a warning to americans to stop using this drug intended for LIVESTOCK who said "You are not a horse. You are not a cow. Seriously ya'll, stop it"

His outlook was bleak in the middle of the weak when Jessica said he was not doing good as his lungs were stiff due to fibrosis and doctors said they have ran out of options for him and wanted her to sign a DO NOT RESUSCITATE order but she couldn't do it and said "My heart just can't. I can't imagine my life without him. I'm sorry if i don't responded to any calls or texts or messages. I am broken up. He is our everything. We can't survive without him"

In the gofundme page, Jessica explains their 4th child is on the way and needs help paying for the mortgage, water, electricity and necessities for their soon to be 4 girls and says "anything helps at the moment. I'm trying to prepare for this month and next. With being this far along in pregnancy, i can't get a job and after delivery i'll need a few weeks to recover."

They were face timing with him every night with his girls keep telling him to keep fighting..

Freedom Fighters claim to be people who are fighting to get people to work and to get on their own 2 feet to to work for what they want and to survive on their own without government help.

He would often give interviews on criticizing the "plandemic" and falsely claimed thre's little evidence it even EXISTED and that masks would actually owrk. He demanded all restrictions end and to have their freedoms back.

ICU's are being filled up rapidly again and the unvaccinated are taking the beds which is leaving thousands who need those beds with other medical emergencies being cancelled

Do you think it's foolish not to get life insurance if you have a big family to raise?.

I'm 29 and I legit look 20 years younger than this guy.

This quote here is so disheartening. You have a family to care for and you're worried about the media being right? I can't even begin to understand this man's mentality. Ridiculous. And it got him killed.

Eh he doesn't really look like he's aged that poorly. Is it the bald thing? Since mpb is kind of a bitch I can't really hold that against him. . Like the bald look would have made you look older if you associate it like that but its one of those looks that lasts decades without aging you which his skin so far hasn't really shown.

Yeah, that's probably the worst thing about this. He knew he was in trouble and that there was a good chance he was wrong about Covid, but he cared so much about obscuring that truth to make the media look bad that he got himself killed. He deserved worse than he got.

Not for nothing, but three kids isn't a "big family." That's still pretty average. Of course, you left out that a fourth kid was on the way, which is where it starts to get big.

That said, if you have kids, you really ought to have life insurance.

Yeah, I would have said 30s at a glance. I think a lot of it is just the baldness.

Maybe early on in your career having a cheap term life insurance makes sense.
I'd rather just save up money beyond that point, though.
Maybe I'm too paranoid, but I never liked the idea of making my death have a sizeable monetary value.
In his specific case, at his age and number of kids I guess he should've had something, but less kids or a few more years of savings, and...nah.

All insurance is a scam. Especially life insurance, where youre basically paying to gamble with a company that youll die within your contract period so that some money can go to other people who did not die.

I would not invest in life insurance. Ever.

I'd argue that not having insurance is more of a gamble than having it. Paying for insurance is paying somebody else to take on the financial risk associated with whatever you're insuring. You'll generally end up paying a premium in the long run (since you are receiving a service), but in doing so you end up with an expense that's predictable and therefore much easier to budget around.

That doesn't mean insurance is always a good idea, but it boils down to managing risks sensibly. Skipping out on insurance is gambling that whatever you'd insure won't happen, or at least that you'll be able to cover the costs if it does happen. In the case of life insurance, you need to consider what your dependants will need if you die. With no dependants, so long as you/your next of kin can afford your funeral, you don't need it at all (and if you want, pre-paying your funeral costs is an option to render that point moot). With a wife who doesn't work, four kids, and nowhere close to enough savings to sustain them until they can get back on their feet after your death, not having life insurance is unfathomably stupid.

If you don't have kids (or, to a lesser extent, a spouse), you really don't need life insurance.

And yeah, I also don't like the idea of people benefiting from my death. I've watched enough murder mysteries to see that as an incentive.
