This year should be pretty great. My boss pissed off a lot of folks last year and either lost some tent post employees that made his company run correctly or paid us off with handsome bonuses to make us stay. Any position past where I am at now doesn't have enough of an increase in pay for it to be worth the pain in my ass, I have about as much supervisory duties right now as I am willing to take (which is basically none, my crew is sme'd up), and it would pull me away from how close I am to what I work on. Benefits of working while getting retirement pay I guess. Maybe if I get offered a sweet deal.... That doesn't require me to move..... Which isn't likely.
