I used to visit a lot of the public ccs like zezima, sparc mac, and osg. It seems like most of the regular residents of those clan chats had some mental health issues with the way they typed
I hope to god that they are just trolling tho. I guess osrs the type of game to attract those folks.

Most of the folks i met with lots of xp were usually neets and playing 12 to 16 hours a day. I guess i can relate a lil bit tho. Sometimes i feel so hopeless with my life that i find comfort in watching numbers go up in a game.

I remember back in 2005, I saw someone trying to do a drop trade between his account and I stole like 500k gold from him. He started cursing me out and I just logged out lol

Dude was a fucking idiot cuz he did it in the middle of a busy road in fucking Lumbridge. When I dropped traded, I did it in some secluded spot in the middle of nowhere, like the farmland near that vampire manor >_>

Back when OSRS launched I got 38m cooking xp using my secret moneymaker and used it to fund 99 construction. I was actually the 69th player to get the construction cape

But then bots found out about it, and the whole economy these days is just high level bossing >_>

It has like the second largest variety of skills in an MMO (of the ones I've played, Project: Gorgon takes first place), an active community, all the quests are handcrafted and many have unique mechanics, there's a lot to achieve, decent PVM (maybe not good PVP), and a lot of idle and active endgame activity.

It's limited by the outdated gameplay itself, ticks sytem, etc. IMO

I am forever in the OSRS Hiscores.

I think Im in the top 15,000 to ever play the game or something like that last time I checked. Might be off by a few hundred.

Nah, the original moved on from Old School.

OSRS (Old School RuneScape) is a special game that had to start from 0 in order to create a new, balanced economy and experience that fluctuates according to its own universe, unaltered by the changes and evolutions that happened with RS3.

I exclusively play the game on my iPhone.

Definitely this. I would skip school when I was 13 and just play rs because I had such high depression and anxiety and rs would give me some sense of community and safety.

I feel like thats not a bad thing.

When I was a kid (and still today) I could (and still can) type over 100 words per minute and it was just because I was playing RuneScape as a kid in 3rd grade.

RuneScape is about efficiently using your time At least thats how I have fun with the game.

The original was actually "Classic". And Old School is like some weird... off-shoot of a later version of RS2 anyway, not even the original RS2 since that came out in 2004, and OSRS is from a 2007 build.

Anyway, my account hails from the days of RSC but I still prefer RS to OSRS just because ... it's better.
