There's a side mission in Sonic Unleashed where you have to complete the Arabia level in an incredibly strict time limit. I had to have played that challenge maybe 50+ times without luck until one time I accidentally clipped through the wall and skipped a particularly challenging segment and won. I really shouldnt have though.

As a hardcore fighting game player yeah all the time lmao sometimes s*** happens and you end up pulling off the win when you really had no businesses clutching it out lol

One particular instance, I was fighting Mysterious Figure with Terra in Kingdom Hearts BBS and right at that jump he goes ham on me reducing Terra to 1 HP.

Well this caused some kind of glitch I haven't been able to replicate since where Terra became immortal.

After that, MF was on the receiving end.

Yeah, it was for a clan recruitment match on CS about twenty years ago.

I ended the match with a 35-1 ratio with the majority of my kills coming from headshots. I'm normally like a 10-8 ratio kinda guy.

There was no way in hell I should have done that good and clutched out those wins.

Only one time that I can remember. It was Metroid Prime Hunters, got matched in a room with a bunch of expert players but I'm only one star and generally play pretty terrible. Somehow I managed to play way better than I normally do and pulled out a win against all of them. Wish the game had replays, I would've saved that.

Happened to me a lot in Super Meat Boy I had a shitty computer that would drop frames and sometimes that would let me clip thru walls for some reason.

Hunters multiplayer was interesting before people figured out that the optimal strat was to sit still as Trace (because he autostealths with the sniper rifle while standing still) and trying to nail people with headshots for instant kills

I literally beat the final boss w 3hp

Probably shouldn't have won against the guy ranked number 1 on street fighter 3s Xbox 360 consideting I was like only barely in the top 2000.

To be fair it was like the 10th time I fought him over the course of a couple months and he always played the same character and I didnt so I knew how he played better than he knew how I played.
