It depends on the person. Some people are cool with having, shall we say, non-conformist genitalia. It's not as if every trans person hates what's between their legs. If they did, none of them would keep what they were born with. (None that which had the financial resources, anyway.)

In case people don't understand, I think the argument the tweeter is making is that you don't need a dick to be male. In this perspective, I BELIEVE the poster is a transgender of female to male (due to the "keep ignoring and erasing us" [in the post they mention transmen]). So in this aspect they feel offended that to be a man you must have a dick.

It is possible that this transman is preop or feels left out because they feel male and they're being excluded unnecessarily since they do not have "the dick" that lil nas x desires. To them Lil Nas X is calling the transman not a man because they may not have a dick. And even if they were post op they still may find it offensive that having a dick is what makes someone male. That is not what they believe in and find it to be rather harming and a toxic stereotype to believe in.

Before people blow up at me, I'm just restating what they've said and interpreting it in a way that people on CE may understand.

This tweeter is upset that Lil Nas X likes dick and because he labels himself as gay, that lil nas x believes that to be a man you must have a dick. I think the tweeter is interpreting what he has said to the extreme however. Unless Lil Nas X's lyrics has been broken down. Regardless often a lot of rap has a TON of homophobic, misogynistic, transphobic lyrics. To be a fan of the rap genre and the person you kind of should accept that they either actually BELIEVE in those lyrics OR that they write those lyrics to favor a target audience (in a manner the rapper supports those people who have those beliefs). It's kind of a lose lose situation. It doesn't stop someone from criticizing and hoping for a better rapper or an improvement, but still.

It's possible that this person believes in being masculine presenting and hoping that if they aren't...physically equipped, that they can use alternative means to satisfy the urges of a strict bottom, such as a strap on.

This is a really odd subject to think about but I'm sure there are better answers to this. It honestly requires probably a serious discussion between gay/lesbian and transgender people. Of which I don't think ANYONE (including myself) in this topic fulfills. The best analogy I can make is a bunch of americans deciding what's in the best interests for another country to do to improve their lifestyles while not actually living in that country and just shoving whatever thing works for themselves in their own country onto the other country. It doesn't seem fair.

Realisitcally what a tweet like that encourages is a bunch of people who aren't LGBT+ and have no vested interest in improving the situation spouting a bunch of random shit or getting upset and criticizing how ridiculous it is to think like that. When in reality the poster was hoping to shed some light on what masculinity means to them to everyone and maybe link up to other transmales and what their beliefs may be. If they hear enough from other transmales or from enough gay men on what being masculine means to them, their own beliefs may change. But to hear what masculinity is from a bunch of cis women or cis men is of no help to them. Cis men/women haven't gone through any of the struggles a gay male, lesbian female, or trans male has gone through to understand what masculinity means for them.

It doesn't sound like he was saying trans men aren't men, unless he specifically said it in another tweet. All he was saying is that he likes the sexual organ that is the glorious dick.

And that's fine. In the end, sexual compatibility/attraction is important in a partner and if they lack the ones you are into then you're not likely to work out in the long run.

I wonder how much everyone wants to actually have a discussion and how much people just wanna "gotcha" one the hottest stars atm. The one guy did say he ignored a lot of comments. But it's very possible he doesn't even look at them or handle that aspect of his social media. The videos he makes and stuff look super time consuming and like very hard work. Plus he's gotta be putting a lot of time into being in that good of shape. There's no way he's reading a bunch of social media comments.
