KodyKeir 07/27/21 11:44:52 PM #1:	Jason Pargin (aka David Wong of Cracked fame) released his fifth book last year and the second in his Futuristic Violence and Fancy Suits series. Anyone read it yet? I will definitely be reading it (probably next week, there is a Dexter novel I have to fit in my schedule too) really enjoyed the first one in the series and I have been waiting for the sequel, so of course it was released in the middle of a pandemic when we were all busy with other things. He is apparently working on the fourth book in the JDATE series, which just keeps getting weirder; "This Book Is Full of Spiders: Seriously Dude, Don't Touch It" and "What the Hell Did I Just Read" both lived up to their titles. I actually forgot entirely about "What the Hell Did I Just Read", got a second copy and was well into chapter one until I remembered it. Mead posted... Not familiar with that author or his books Do you like horror/thrillers and or cyberpunk? (never really a horror fan myself but I enjoyed the JDATE series) John dies at the End (and sequels) for the horror, Futuristic Violence and Fancy Suits for the cyberpunk, both are in his unique writing stlye, so if you like one you will probably like the others. I am hoping the next one is better, ZPtFitD will hopefully be a litmus of where he is at creatively, if it's good, I can write WTFDIJR as a direction he was at creatively at the time.
