Dangerously teetering towards 200lb. I am much happier at 170lb - 175lb.

I was around 185-190, but some time in the past year or so I've dropped down to 165-170 for the first time since 2010. I mostly blame skimping on food because supporting two people on a single CERB was rough, and we're still recovering from the costs of moving amid all of that.

Intermittent fasting and eating less calories, also a slight increase in exercise. Mostly just lifting weights now and doing an hour of cardio every day. But I've been doing an hour of cardio every day for two years so that's not really different.

Just register and follow the plan. Yes, it is that easy.

Tracking calories is not easy (it's arguably simple, but only if you primarily eat prepackaged food) and it's certainly not a lifelong healthy weight maintenance strategy

I say this as someone who had done extensive macro tracking for many years

To each his own, I guess.

It worked for me, mostly because I was unwilling to change what I eat, so I just changed how much of it I eat.

I lost the most weight when I was actively counting calories... I think I should get back to doing that

Counting calories is pretty simple and there are ways to ballpark unknowns pretty accurately... but moreover, I think there's a psychological thing about the physical act of making a count of calories also makes you lose weight cuz you're thinking more or something
