Totally doable, especially in the later books where so much of it is minor character POVs. They will probably cut a ton of characters and at least a few major plotlines, but that's normal for an adaption like this. The first season seems like it will probably be ~~book 1, with parts of book 2 and New Spring mixed in~~. Showrunner who seems like he's very invested in the source material and wants to make a great show, but understands adaptations require some changes. Brandon Sanderson has seen a lot of behind the scenes and thinks highly of the production. Production team has been giving teases of various aspects of the show well beyond would normally be given so far in advance of release.
