First off apologies to @TheRock1525 for several years ago when he wanted to play through the story online. That just happened to coincide with when my apartments internet cable got knicked by a grass cutter somewhere outside and it took them weeks to figure it out and replace all the wires. I was still able to get on the internet, but it would drop several times a day and especially whenever I tried to play my PS4 online.

This game was when Platinum started putting out a ton of licensed games and its clearly their B or C team. You play through 9 stages with all 4 turtles at once. If youre playing alone you can switch between which one you play as and in multiplayer you have to stick to one. You can level them up to learn new skills and gain currency to level up those skills or upgrade charms you find with various stat bonuses. The skills work on cool downs, but you can load out all 4 turtles in a way that they basically have tank, healer and DPS roles and it can get pretty interesting. I found on higher difficulties though that even trying to engage up close with enemies was futile and it was far safer and easier to just stay back and throw ninja stars and spam abilities when cooldowns ended while the AI turtles kept them busy.

For such a short game though the actual platinum is a super grind, made worse by online only trophies that are impossible to perform with AI turtles and you need 2-4 players for a few of them to make them happen. To make matters even worse the game was only on sale for 6 months then it was delisted from digital store fronts so if you didnt get it in the 6 month window finding a physical copy was your only hope. This made finding people to play with online very difficult and was a weeks long process of finding people online then scheduling time to play together. There were also trophies where you have to play a certain type of mission 10-30 times and these missions randomly spawn on stages and usually have a very low spawn rate so youre forced to just replay the same stage over and over again until you get the mission you want X amount of times just to finish off the trophy.

The main platinum points include:

Completing the story on Hard Mode
100% of all collectibles (covers of the IDW comics)
Upgrade/dismantle 30 charms
Disarm 30 bombs
Transport gold bars 30 times
Transport 30 bags of money
Transport 10 Chemical Weapons
Destroy 30 cameras
Disarm 30 time bombs
Transport 30 Krang Bombs
Protect 30 ATM machines (the worst one because its spawn rate is so rare)
Protect 10 Pizza trucks
Various defeat a boss with certain conditions challenges
Traveling 150km
Using the same turtle at least 50 times

Overall longer than it was worth, but hey at least its a decently rare platinum. Hoping the Transformers game that Platinum did isnt equally as tedious.
