Wow, I was not expecting that to get modded. I would pay good money to see anyone on the moderation team try to justify that one, I mean I know they would try but seeing their "logic" would be worth the cost alone. A shame the dispute system was changed so they don't even have to bother doing that anymore.

Well I hold the mods to higher standards than normal users so I figured they'd, you know, read my post and see I wasn't doing any of those things you claim I was. I guess that was giving them too much credit. Although there was one part of the post that I phrased a bit vaguely so maybe I should give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they interpreted it wrong.

Also I have to wonder if they knew I myself was black if they would still assume the worst about my intentions.

Hilarious. I guess that's you mocking me. Since you couldn't come up with an actual argument to what I said about you putting a sitting councilman on the same level as random street men not holding him to account. Higher standards indeed.

I give everyone the pass, it's just a stupid word. I'm no racist so I don't try to restrict people's freedom of speech based on their skin color even if that speech isn't nice.

Your post didn't debunk anything, my point still stands. Also are you calling the fact that I'm black a gimmick? That's one of the reasons I don't bring up my race often, I mean it's irrelevant 99.9% of the time but it also has a nice side effect that when people see me post something """racist""" or "right wing" (i.e. "horrible") they automatically assume I'm white. They reveal themselves to be the actual racists by associating my two "evils" with one race only.

I watched the video. He was quoting the major who actually did call her the n word. Regardless he shouldn't have even quoted it. I'm surprised that nobody else watched it here because he said something almost as bad. I can't remember it verbatim but he essentially called all Muslims terrorists.

It didn't make anything irrelevant. You pointing out the black councilman means nothing because neither of them should ever be put on the same level as people on the street. Which is what you did. Their positions demand much higher levels of discretion. So because the black one did it doesn't make this right. Thats the point, full stop. Not sure why you find this concept so hard. Well apparently you don't, since you made that other statement about the mods. But thats why I assumed you were mocking me, because you didn't apply the same logic to the councilman. And well if you post exactly like well known gimmick troll posters I don't know what you want me to tell you.

What I was saying with the second example (cool how you totally missed the point of the first example) was that the idea some people itt have expressed that saying the word regardless of any context makes you a racist is absurd. I wasn't saying the same context applies to this guy, it's crazy I need to point that out to you.

Here's a third example to hopefully spell things out for you. If someone asks the question "What was the orginal title of the most well know mystery novel of all time, 'And then there were None' by Agatha Christie?" Someone who gives the correct answer wouldn't be a racist they would just be stating a true fact. Same with the answer to the question "What was the name of H.P. Lovecraft's black cat?"

Dude you outright told me to imagine a black guy on the street saying the same thing. YOU compared him to some rando black man. And I told you that's not the same context. And even if another white man on the street did the same thing its still NOT the same context. The context has already been explained to you multiple times and you're wilfully ignoring it. Under no circumstances is it acceptable for a councilman to be saying these things. That goes for the black one too. Do you get it now?
