When I hear my friends talk about stuff that happens in that game I think they're just making shit up and trolling me. No way a game is that fucking obtuse and micromanagable. But I guess it is lol

It's really not that complex. You set colonist jobs and then just kind of let the game play itself. Minor micromanagement required during combat but even then it's extremely simple.

Yea I've played it a lot, but it gets really hard on the default settings IMO.

Rimworld also has one of the most insane modding communities I've ever seen. Makes for an almost endless amount of content, it's ridiculous

Me and my girlfriend put about 500 hours into Rimworld during lockdown.
Once you realise that most of the micro-management doesn't matter, it becomes relatively simple. A lot of the detail is just there for flavour, not that there's anything wrong with that. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
