What items are you working on upgrading? I figured to work on items that seem decent on any Pokemon out now or could possibly be out in the future. Like Shell Bell?

shell bell, float stone, and rocky helmet are the most generally applicable items imo

yeah i really felt bad when i gave up float stone on gengar. i really wanted to use it but the ad was just wasted on him. i feel like double glasses and shell bell is optimal

float stone seems god tier, deciding you need to get somewhere that you arent usually means you need to be there like, right now, and even spending 20 seconds to get there is too late. so speeding up that transition is good

rocky helmet seems real good, but i dont know how the math works out on how it triggers.. at worst it seems like a bit of free damage. i guess it comes down to how good other items you are giving up end up being

im using shell bell but i'm not sure how much the healing actually is. this could good but it could also be worthless. even a "high" number of healing could be useless if the glass cannons that are relying on it just get bursted down anyways which is what happens to Ninetails if you are caught out. the cooldown reduction seems negligible.

assault vest seems really nice. a solid bubble to keep you from getting bursted that refreshes itself seems solid

besides that none of the items look particularly interesting. if they turn out to be good it will just be because the math on their stat makes them good or bad.

no idea how good actually upgrading them are

this game provides really no info and i havent looked anything up yet so who knows \_()_/

The answer, like it usually is, is probably kids. Some 4 year old with a Switch who loves Pokemon but has absolutely no idea what's going on in this game and is just hitting buttons.

I actually had to wait 2 seconds to get matched last night. An actual queue time for this game? Madness.

Also, I took that survey and a few observations:

• They have to know how crappy the menu system is because it's brought up like two dozen times as a potential response.
• I like how "defeating Rotom" is it's own thing as one of the things you can list that you like about the game. Meanwhile "defeating Drednaw" is lumped together with "defeating Zapdos"....
• Playing while using the restroom is an option for how you game. I haven't done that... yet.
• This option in "What do you like to do when playing video games": [Destroying objects and items in-game (buildings, background, etc.) and then resetting them]... um, what?
• They have an entire section based on what microtransactions you like to buy. Ick.

If a player disconnects in Ranked it should just nullify the round for everybody else as far as ranking progress goes, or at least for their teammates who are definitely going to lose now. What a great start to my night.

Over a large enough sample size you will get just as many free wins as free losses from leavers. Just gotta keep your chin up and press on.

The knockback from his starting ZL move comes out quicker than close combat which has a long charge time and is prone to being interrupted. Bone rush is just a completely different move. His initial combo of being able to dash behind and then immediately shove his opponents back is stronger than what he ends up with later.

Yeah some of the basic moves from level 1-7 can be better than their upgraded counterparts

Problem with this is when friends group and start rotating disconnects so that not everyone loses points when a match goes south

It's definitely a big failing of the Moba genre though, and the fact that the games have put virtually no effort into solving it is baffling

I mean do you have a solution that cant be abused? They ban people from playing who disconnect too much. That seems like a pretty solid solution. Anything farther than that just seems so easy to abuse by creating alts and such

It's effect is that if you are the lowest level person on your team you will steadily gain XP over time. The trade off is that you dont even get partial XP when your allies kill neutral pokemon. Seems fair, right?

Well the other trade off is that if you have an ally on the other side of the map who is just doing terrible then you will be limited by their progress, so that can be bad. But it's a gamble and otherwise it seems manageable, right?

Wrong. Because the OTHER trade off that they don't tell you about is that it will just STOP WORKING even IF you are still the lowest on your team because there seems to be some kind of hard-coded CAP to how much XP you can get with it. I don't know if that cap is on a per-level basis or over a set period of time but it's definitely there. So it's just actual garbage that has a negative effect (no partial XP from neutral minion kills) WITHOUT the positive effect of being able to stay on the same level as your lowest level ally. I was stuck on level 3 for like 3 minutes wondering what the hell was going on.

The amount of shit that this game doesn't tell you about is mountainous.

I don't think so, because when the XP stops rolling in I notice a blue lightbulb show up above my characters head, which I think is the animation letting me know that it stopped? I certainly didn't see the animation when I was gaining xp.

sigh, MVP but it was a match I knew was complete dead in the water before the half-way mark

me and at least 1 other teammate have been surrendering since the unlock but 2 people for some reason dead set on rejecting it, even as the same domination continues, the zapdos is taken, and still rejecting surrender in the final half-minute as they're all up in our base and we took a grand total of 1 station of theirs

checks results... zero points on our team scored in the first 6 minutes like come on

They need to take away his heal and shield. No need to give an assassin that level of sustain.

Snorlax is still my pick for most annoying thing to play against. I've calmed down a bit on ninetales but god every time I see a Snorlax I'm like great, guess I'm not able to gank that lane at all for the whole game.
