Hopefully the new online game is actively updated so they can be convinced otherwise. I have the same issue with TCGO. I remember buying them for my nephew forever ago because he was into the show as a kid. All it can do is attack, and if you summon it on turn 1 it can't do even that. On your turn you can remove it with any effect. Metalsonic66 posted... I recently looked at some deck profiles for cards that came out in Lightning Overdrive. I like control decks so amazement was interesting to me (I like how it pivots around only 2-3 monsters and the rest are all traps that can be activated when they are set by their effects). Also the Live Twins because Vtubers. But I haven't actually seen any of these crazy meta link climbing decks played (stuff like Dragon Link which was recently hit). I think they're the biggest barrier of entry, compared to other archtypes. Even Pendulum is not that crazy in comparison (I quit during the Synchro era due to not having anyone to play with anymore). I've been trying to get my friends to play with me. Maybe the new game will change this (Although I really like YGO Omega for its Discord integration).
