I mentioned in the last topic that all I know about the Atelier franchise is Ryza's thick thighs and the two girls from the "High Impact Sexual Violence" meme (Totori and Meruru, I think) but the series has always looked interesting to me. I've just never had the chance to try it out.

I have watched a stream of the games she's in, so it seems alright and I guess I know a bit more than just Ryza. But will still need something actually good and autoing for me to want to add another. Guess will see what people say about it in the next few days.

They definitely can be. I'm at a point where I can breeze through Arena so just have Ainz auto kill everything in one go but earlier on it was a slog. The other arena's aren't too bad as can just auto complete the battle and only target people lower than you to get the 15 weekly.

I can believe 80 days. I'm on the 2nd tier and it'll take me about 13 days to get out of it XD. I have to wonder if by that point we'll have way better units. I'm taking my time with this game. I do want to progress more but the event will be telling on how this game will be handled in the near future

Im currently playing Azur Lane, Priconne, and Counter:Side.

PR4 ships drop tomorrow in AL. I was hoping Id have more time to finish unlocking all of PR3. I need 55% more exp to get Mainz.

I tried Atelier Online back in beta and wasnt very impressed. The translation was terrible, I found it ugly looking, and it seemed P2W.

Actually thats Totori and Tiffani (an NPC).

Not sure which Totori CG that is, but funnily enough the Tiffani one is from Rorona.

Oh, neato. I cant wait to see what kind of new ships we get. Mainz, Neptune, and FdG were the only ones I wanted right now, so Im just working on Roon for the hell of it lol. Hopefully theres someone new that I want :3

Playing Azur Lane, Priconne, and FFBE. The latter is having their 5th anniversary celebration. But typical of Gumi and the global version, the rewards are very underwhelming. Not to mention they often skip upgrades for units that JP got, or the scummy business practices. I'm reminded why I quit the first time. Plus bugs all over the place.

In Priconne, I have a hard time finding reason to log in other than the dailies. I'm currently working a lot so I don't log in every day either. It's such a slow moving game, which makes a fine side game. Just not sure if I'll keep going after S. Karyl.

Azur Lane is still my main. Grinded the event in 3 days to get the medal from D3. Almost done getting all PR1 ships, just a little bit more experience to go. I hope they make DR blueprints more available going forward.

I only play Girls' Frontline and Azur Lane. About 10% away from Odin, which is the last Priority ship I need to have the full set. PR4 stuff is around the corner, though.

Last Cloudia will be having a collab with Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood starting on the 15th if anyone is interested.

We don't know much else as info on it is being announced in a livestream on the 12th.

Also, I fucking hate those exploding sea monster things that make your guys run away. Like I would be fine if it was just your regular units, but its annoying as fuck for it to essentially instakill you if like 3 of them explode, especially since they have a bigass AoE <_<

You see how you have 2 different body inscription ones? There are multiple different one for boots as well. You just need the right one

Also yeah lol event missions tend to be pretty difficult, but they actually don't take your character's levels into account, so you can feel free to use just about whoever. I dunno if the next tier opened up, but usually I dealt with the sea monster guy with Miyuki

Welp, so much for that.

This seems to be the trend for new gacha games in 2021, or at least, it's becoming Boltrend's favorite pastime. Can't crash and burn later if you're already a mangled wreck on fire I guess.

Mind you, I haven't personally had any problems with Disgaea (...yet), but I know others who did and understandably bailed on it.

Oof, that's a lot of shit from Boltrend. I ditched Disgaea after they falsely advertised that you get Pleinair after your 8th log in. That was bad for a number of reasons:

• They didn't even address the issue, let alone give an apology or compensation
• When I wrote to them about it, they just sent some automated reply back
• I told them that I bought stuff solely because I was expecting to get Pleinair, and they said they wouldn't refund me (luckily Apple did)
• Later I discovered that the same thing happened in the JP release. So not only did they have the 8 days to fix it, but they also had all the time between the JP and global launch too <_<

Wait...I swear Heinrich's AOA goes farther than I remember. I could've sworn it had really pitiful range (like half screen-ish), but it goes maybe 3/4 screen?

I was planning to go with whichever one needs Iron Blood vanguard once Im done with Mainz since Im using them anyway. Turns out none of them do initially (gir does for her second exp task), so I guess Ill just go left to right.

Agir is a CB (Large Cruiser). They are larger than CAs, but smaller than capital ships like BBs. So one exp grind to unlock them requires main fleet ships, and the other requires vanguard. Azuma in PR2 is the only other CB in the game, and has similar grinding requirements.

Also, Jottun's Jaws is Agir's All Out Assault. It only fires every 4 shots if you have a CB gun equipped. CB guns generally have a longer reload timer than CA guns, so the number of shots needed to fire it is reduced when using a CB gun. Again, Azuma has a similar mechanic for her barrage, though her's only works with a specific gun.

The event has a few, and the secret territory reset pretty recently. You should be able to get the whatsis to buy the thingimagigs

I discovered I had a crapton of consumables that give random gifts, so I just opened them all and got 3 characters to level 5 affinity. That gave me the 70 points I needed to get the 5 Star Flares at the end of the beginners quest thing. But damn, if they expected beginners to actually fill out all the boards, theyre nuts, since you have to clear level 15 on all the spires :<

Lol nice thinking. But yeah they're def not easy, and sucks they're under a time limit. I did finish it in a week or so but it wasn't easy

Playing Fire Emblem Heroes and Genshin Impact

FEH released arguably the hottest waifu art ever two days ago. I managed to get the Bikini Goat Mom in 18 orbs. She is like extra thicc Ganyu and her VA is Jean from Genshin as well which sounds very hot and deep

Update day in PriConne. Our clan battle rewards finally arrived (top 1400, our best ranking ever btw), a new story chapter is open, the level cap has increased to 105, and Summer Karyl drops tomorrow for all you meta slaves who want to pull the soon-to-be best unit in the game.

I played Touhou LostWord for about a month and then dropped it. I got frustrated about the lack of a skip function and the amount of time it takes to grind, and I just couldn't deal with that along with the other games I play, so I gave up on it. That being said, the game itself is really good, really well put together, and really F2P-friendly as well. So if you like Touhou and can handle the grind, then it's worth checking out.

Update day in PriConne. Our clan battle rewards finally arrived (top 1400, our best ranking ever btw), a new story chapter is open, the level cap has increased to 105, and Summer Karyl drops tomorrow for all you meta slaves who want to pull the soon-to-be best unit in the game.

And the summer event out shortly as well, with another very hard boss to suffer through. Managed to do the new hard nodes without too much trouble, on copying others successful runs, so now the slow grind to get Jun to 5 begins.

I didnt care for it. As Cal mentioned, the grind without skip was terrible. And this probably isnt the games fault as much as it is RNGesus, but I had such shitty luck with pulls. It has the same system as FGO, meaning characters and cards in the same pool, so a lot of the time your 5 stars wont be characters. And it takes both gold and gacha currency to do pulls which sucks nads.

On the plus side, you can substitute an item called Paper Dolls to upgrade units rather than use copies of them, and you get them at a decent pace. So once you get a character once its fairly easy to limit break them or whatever it was called.

Also, how do you tell if a unit does melee or ranged damage? I just got Lilith to 5 stars which gets her team a 15% melee attack boost, but Im not sure how much that helps Future Knight/Noxia/Beth (it better boost her) since I remember Lupina being melee :<

You have to check their character page on their normal attack it'll say if it's melee or not.

That was definitely one of the best things about the game, and one of the reasons why I called it player-friendly. Between the paper dolls and the decent luck I had with pulls, I had three max limit-broken characters (Cirno, Youmu, and Marisa) in just the month or so I played before I quit.

But yeah, like I said, the grind just got to be too much for me. All three of my other standard gacha games that I play have some sort of skip system, and it makes life so much easier that I have a hard time justifying playing a game without one now.

Also, I thought that you would only need one of those items that lock skills each time. You seriously need 10, then 20, then 30, etc. D:

Knight or FK is the worst example of this because they can use both melee and ranged, normally where it would say "master of arms" tap that spot on any other character and it'll tell you if it's melee or ranged

There are actually quite a few characters that dont specify the damage type though. Granted, it should be common sense that sword and claws are melee. But then again, I thought common sense would dictate that magical wolves would be ranged :<

My girl finally came home!

Super excited, she's the reason I bega playing the game to begin with. Game fucking knew I wanted her, made me go to pity. Using more than 100 tickets 1 by 1 made me have an existential crisis, they definitely need to implement a feature to dump a lot of them.
I also got this cutie


From what I know, the next thing I have to look forward to comes in New Year's next year. Till then I have no purpose to live I guess.

Used all 100 tickets, and 2 10-pulls for 120 tries in Priconne. I got Djeeta with tickets. Second 10-pull got me 2 Karyls. Go figure. Same thing happened with Peco. Seems to be my luck in this game. It's too bad dupes only get you amulets but I guess it's a better system overall than requiring dupes to max a character.

Wasnt there a time in Arknights when they would automatically refill whatever you were making in your factory or whatever? Like when you collect the gold/combat reports, it would bring it back up to 99 so you didnt have to?
