The bigger problem I find is the series is 6 episodes so 16% of the show (33% so far) could be considered forgettable.

Other than the TVA reveal that most people had guessed I dont feel like weve progressed anywhere story wise as we dont really know Sylvie any better. We dont know what she wants or why. We dont know what happened with the branching timelines.

If we look at the end of last episode there was no character progression or plot progression. For a 6 episode show that isnt great. TBH I was pretty bored throughout it, which is something I cant say for the first two.

That being said I really like the theory that the whole episode was Sylvie enchanting Loki. And I agree that Loki hasnt smashed the Tempad either

Just realized something....with the reveal that all the TVA agents are time variants, and we know the TVA destroys variant timelines, I imagine that if the TVA/Timekeepers were to ever be destroyed, those people would probably get their memories back.

But then where do they go? You'd effectively have "time refugees" who would be forced to live in other timelines.

Could have huge implications for the MCU going forward.

I think they exist but they are definitey not 3 space lizards. I reckon there may just be one person in charge.

SUPER SPOILERS AHEAD WITH FUTURE MOVIE RUMOURS
Ive heard that Kang is supposed to be in Antman 3 and seeing him originate from here could be very interesting

Im gonna be really disappointed if Lady Loki isnt a Loki variant. Like its cool if they opt to combine Enchantress and Lady Loki together into one character.

But I think story wise and for character development and all that, them being the same person that split off at some point is way more interesting and full of potential.

like why even introduce Variants and all that? Just to set up that twist and throwing away soo much potential.

More so then nah, shes/someone is framing Loki Its not a very particular clever or cool twist imo. Though maybe Im a little jaded from a different super hero show at the moment.

It seems to take quite a lot of effort and concentration for him to do the bigger stuff like that. Not something easily done in the middle of a battle.
Also, it's not a new power. He's had it at least as far back as Dark World, when he wrecked his cell after learning of his mother's death. This is just on a bigger scale, but not unreasonably bigger being a "god" and all.

I don't even think there's one timeline anymore and iirc, it was kind of implied by Miss Minutes that the Time Keepers still have tons of branches closer to the end of time they're closing.

I don't even think there's any Time Keepers. Either they're dead, taken over, or maybe never even existed. The fact that Renslayer is sometimes Kang's wifey in the comics is too much. He has to be involved.

I hope it's not something stupid like the Time-Twisters or the 4th Time Keeper.

I came in to make this exact comment. It was driving me nuts that he was fighting normal people on their level hand to hand, and then he effortlessly tosses aside some gigantic 50-100 ton rock, and it makes me think why dont you just launch everyone out of your way?

It's just weird Marvel power-scaling. Though, they could be throwing us for a loop, assuming that theory that this entire episode was just Sylvie trying to get into Loki's head.

Eh this episode was kinda weak. The reveals were all nice and good (although a little predictable) but I felt like it was running in circles. That last scene of them literally running around in circles was pretty bad.

Also Hiddleston kinda seems like he's phoning this one in. Needs to step it up.

Yeah he doesn't seem like "Loki" anymore.

Whether it was in Thor 1 or Infinity War he did not act like a self insert like this guy does.

I never noticed he didn't put the stone back when I watched the episode. But now I have a theory that he will use the stone to turn back time, possibly saving the planet he is on and forcing the TVA to come and "clip" that timeline. Saving him and Sylvie.

I've been wondering about the Time Stone myself. I looked very closely during the first episode because it looked like he took it with him. But that was the time rewind device.

When he stopped that building, I immediately thought it was the Time Stone, especially since we've never seen a feat like that from him outside his room in Thor 2. And it looked really similar to Strange's use in Hong Kong. However, both the Time Stone and his magic are green, so it's probably not. The Time Stone seems like too much of a deux ex wrt this series.

It did look very time rewindy, but every other use of the stone was accompanied by a magic clock thing they have to manually adjust. He just sort of flexed at the building.

Also, it does sound like he drops the stone back into the drawer, but I suppose he could have faked that.

I reckon he pilfered enough to complete the set. If so, he is just playing for time so he can learn more about Sylvie. Once he learns what he wants, out comes the Tesseract.
