Yup, because Portland police are shit and refusing to do their jobs because now they're facing accountability. The riot response force just resigned because one of their officers was deservedly found in the wrong for assaulting a member of the press at a riot.

Gang wars seem to be on the rise everywhere right now. Even fucking Vancouver has had like ten gang shootings this year, and then youve got that craziness going down in Jacksonville.

They failed to effectively address gang issues, created a massive amount of tension and chaos from their behavior during the riots, then when the time came for things to open up and they started seeing accountability for their shit, they bitched and moaned and refused to do their jobs, making the issues even worse.

..No. what kind of stupid statement is that. Its not one or the other. Cops can do their job and stop the crime without killing people. But because they may face more accountability for doing their job wrong, theyre simply refusing to do it.

If fast food corporates said theyd start disciplining employees for getting orders wrong and they all went on strike and pouted, youd be the first to say oh wow look at these losers. They can barely make a sandwich just get back to work!.but for whatever reason when cops do it you think its ok? I dont know about you but I think cops should be held to a much higher standard of decorum. And these Portland cops aint it.
