The worst that can happen is that they say no, so just go with it and fake it to make it if you have to.

Dress to impress.

Dress for the job you want, not the one you got. Also, blend in with the crowd. Act as if.

What is the long term goal here? Obviously you want a job to make money but is there a particular career path your looking to get into?

I always try and remind myself that it is their choice to hire me, and I expect rejection.

If it all goes wrong, at least I learnt a little something-something from the interview process. When I try to really make someone want to hire me, tends to go south. Theres a million other places I can work at. To find solutions, it helps to know what the problem is in the first place. I remember a few years back I spent about a year training for either A.) the military or B.) whoever else would take me

Hey, I did that. Ended up with a job that pays me 24 an hour, x2 pay on holidays, I work from home, lots of room for growth, and bosses and CEOs who are very attentive to our needs and all respect us so awesomely. It's rare for me to say I love my company, but damn, I love my company. So surprised I got the job offer and it ended up being this amazing of a place.

So uh, why do you want to work as a private high school security guard?

Well see the first job I applied to was a hotel manager. But they were like 'bro you can't even fucking work in the fucking hotel industry with how much you fucking swear. You sure as shit ain't cut out for working with people'
So then I tried to be a limo driver. Easy gig right?
You'd think that but they said 'look you can't go around drinking on the job. I get it that you're with a bunch of 21 year old frat boys but you cannot keep drinking while driving. It's just not a good look. Not to mention illegal'
And well after that I thought 'ya know a bank teller... that's a good career first step'
And it was going awesome. I mean the money was great. Like really great. I was making like 30k a week. And then suddenly I hear sirens outside and like the top brass are on me with dudes pointing guns at me and they're all 'hey you can't fucking steal that much money. In fact don't steal. You're fired'.
And well here I am. I thought 'hey I had a gun pointed at me so I'd be able to point it at kids and tell them to get their ass to class'

Scored an 87 for the usps assessment

My mother just got a job for the USPS and the labor is intensive if you do mail carrier stuff, but she's losing a lot of weight and is really enjoying it despite the weather conditions. If you do it, expect to take a driving test.

That's about my mother's pay too. She's getting raises kinda fast too, but man, they had her on a string for the job for a while, and almost took another job as a caretaker until they caught her at the right moment.

She's a mail person for my own town. Her commute is literally 5 minutes away.
