According to statistics, a vast majority of people can't tell the difference in martial arts variety as they think it all looks the same..but for the very small percentage of people that do know it can figure out what is what pretty easily by the fighting..

So which of the following do you think is JUDO? and just to make it harder, each of them is something different cause one is karate, one is kung fu, one is taekwondo, one is hapkido and one is jujitsu.

I can't remember why I know, I think I knew a guy that was taking it or something, but IIRC it's like 4 (something about finding ways to push your opponent to the floor, using their own inertia against them?)

#1 might be some form of MMA, but it's a contender.

#2 is clearly Akido.

#3 looks like lucha.

#4 could be Greco-Roman wrestling, or it might be judo.

#5 might be kickboxing or Muay Thai

#6 just looks like karate

If I had to guess, either #1 or #4. These topics generally suck because Ducky doesn't mention the answer.

I think it's either 1 or 4. I know in kung fu and karate you don't throw each other onto the floor, but in judo you do. You also don't use knives in judo.

1: Initial thought, Judo or Sambo. Given the options, probably jui-jitsu, maybe judo. Judo was created from jui-jitsu, so using takedowns/throws from each is just being intentionally deceptive.
2: I thought Aikido, but given the options, probably hapkido
3: Initial thought, "Either Taekwondo or pro wrestling, lol" Given 5, then it must be kung fu. Kung Fu has a massive variety in styles so it's tough to see just one move and assume it's that, but none of the other martial arts listed aside from maybe taekwondo have such crazy flashy maneuvers.
4: Most likely one to be judo
5: Initial thought, kickboxing, given the options...taekwondo is the only one that makes sense.
6: Definitely Karate. The body punching and uniform is a dead giveaway (generally only allow kicks to the head, not hand strikes).

EDIT: Also worth noting, Judo has no striking (hence the humor of Austin Power's "Judo Chop!"), so the ones w/ punching and kicking are automatically out. It's entirely based on throws/takedowns and control of momentum in the standing portion and grappling for the ground game. Jui-jitsu still has striking, that's one of the main differences between them. The founder of judo stripped those parts out to focus on the above mentioned aspects.

Pretty sure its 4. *maybe* 1, but almost certainly 4. No chance of it being the other things.

It really does go overboard with nonsense. You'll have a few things that look legit, but then they over-engineer the whole fucking thing so it looks hokey as fuck and becomes completely impractical.

For all the non-Martial Arts out there (or those who don't know the History of some) Judo and Aikido (along with Ninjutsu/Ninja) are basically spin-offs of Ju-Jitsu...

You were told what 5 of them are, and still only managed to mention 1.

On topic though, Judo is sporterised Jujistu so how can you reasonably tell the difference outside the fight regulations?

I recognize the throw in #4, that is Judo. My spelling of the name may be attrocious but I think I got it right. I have not practiced in over a decade but I still recognize it.

Ju jitsu is focused way more on the ground then flips and trips etc, so I would guess that #1 is Ju jitsu. The short video makes it look like they START in that position and the dude is trying to get out of the hold.

Judo starts from a standing position and then you flip/trip etc your opponent and place them in a hold on the ground etc.

So yeah, I don't know for sure what #1 is, but it's not Judo. The only one that doesn't have something that rules it out in my book is number 4.
