Can you explain how to read the standings? What the first number is versus the bracket number.

I think the first number is how many points they actually have (+3 for a win, +1 for a tie, +0 for a loss) and the second is the overall vote differential for every match they've been in this round, which is just for tiebreaker purposes.

These are going to be far from perfect and there may be an error somewhere, but I surveyed the groups and came up with these realistic advancement scenarios

Group 1
--While not mathematically so, Aerith has all but guaranteed advancement
--Ike needs to beat Aerith to advance
--King Dedede needs to win and Ike to lose
--While not mathematically so, Kiryu has all but been eliminated

Group 2
--This group has already been decided. Donkey Kong and Jecht will advance regardless of results.

Group 3
--While not mathematically, Alucard has all but guaranteed advancement
--The Boss needs to have a better result or an equal one with a better vote differential (faces Vivi)
--Sephiroth needs to have a better result or an equal one with a better vote differential (faces Alucard)
--While not mathematically so, Vivi has all but been eliminated

Group 4
--Phoenix needs to win or draw (faces Zelda) or Snake to lose
--Snake needs to win or draw(faces Kirby)
--Kirby needs to win (faces Snake)
--Zelda's vote differential is probably too terrible to realistically advance regardless of results

Group 5
--While not mathematically so, Cloud has all but guaranteed advancement due to vote differential
--Godot needs to win (faces Cloud), draw alongside a Kyle loss, or not lose ground on vote differential
--Kyle needs to win (faces Carmen) alongside a Godot draw or loss or have an equal result to Godot but with a better vote differential overall
--Carmen needs to win (faces Kyle) alongside a Godot loss and with a better vote differential overall

Group 6
--While not mathematically so, Big Boss has all but guaranteed advancement due to vote differential
--Count Bleck needs to not give up vote differential to Raiden in the case of a loss and Raiden win
--Raiden needs to win and Bleck lose while overtaking him in vote differential
--While not mathematically so, Cave Johnson has all but been eliminated

Group 7
--Meta Knight needs to not lose and give up vote differential to Mega Man (currently has a +13 lead)
--Missile needs to have an equal or better result than Mega Man
--Mega Man needs to have a better result than Missile
--While not mathematically so, Geralt is all but guaranteed elimination

Group 8
--Mario has guaranteed advancement to Round 5
--While not mathematically so, Shulk has all but guaranteed advancement
--If 2B can blow the doors off Robo alongside a Shulk loss, there's a very slim chance
--Robo has guaranteed elimination

Group 9
--Need to wait for Set 2 to play out before hypothesizing

Group 10
--Need to wait for Set 2 to play out before hypothesizing

In the case of a tie in both standings and vote differential, I will use the head-to-head result to determine advancement. If the two characters tied in both vote differential and head-to-head result, I'll come up with something else that's as objective as possible. Hopefully it won't come to that, though.

Group 4 is the only group so far where theoretically all characters have a chance. Zelda has to beat Phoenix by 9 votes to go through regardless of what happens in the other match (unlikely but still possible)
