Not sure how anyone felt about the first volume and I wasn't even expecting a second after so long but volume 2 is out.

Damn did Netflix seriously drop both Castlevania S4 and LD&R S2 while I was on vacation? The nerve!

S1 had a lot of Teenage Edgelord Angst in it that really turned me off, but some of the good episodes were great.

Watched the Christmas one so far and thought it was cute. Might check out the others later

A lot of that Teenage Angst comes from the fact that it was originally a Heavy Metal spin-off.

I watched them all. There were no outright terrible ones like S1, but a few were kinda meh.

Pop Squad was great though.

I made the mistake of reading reddit comments and, man, people there are hating this season. Everyone complaining about a lack of nudity/swearing and acting like the shittiest episodes of the first season were gold (I even saw someone claim they enjoyed that awful yogurt one!)

The worst episode of this season was no worse than a mediocre one from the first season imho

This actually doesnt surprise me. People hanging out in the love death and robots sub must have really loved season 1, and if you really loved season 1 you probably thought the episodes that were edgy were awesome because most of them were.

I gotta rewatch season one, I don't remember there being 18 shorts. I remember like 10 of them.

Overall, I enjoyed it. Some of the episodes were really thought provoking and I always like the mixup in animations. The giant episode at the end was the only one I really didnt get. It seemed like a cool concept, but I didnt care for the way they pulled it off.

I did notice the lack of nudity in season 2. Not that I'm complaining, I just remember like almost every short in season 1 had some form of nudity in it it seemed and this season only 1 episode did I believe.
